    I like the sound of a wind chime. We went on a short trip to Mexico last week. I got several ideas there for a future wind chime. Nice work Jan

    Great job Sir !! You gave a new look to the old windchimes !!
    Just one or two points...
    1.Can a thicker cord be used to make the job easier ?
    2. How about attaching a windcatcher to the clapper?

    • @jankotze1959
      @jankotze1959  4 роки тому +1

      Hi seema, yes you can use thicker cord and a wind-catcher is a good idea, attach it from the clapper center and let the catcher hang under and away from the pipes

    What is carbonated soda? Is it like Canada Dry?

    • @jankotze1959
      @jankotze1959  2 роки тому

      Bicarbonate of soda (otherwise known as bicarb soda) is a pure leavening agent. It is alkaline and commonly used in recipes that mix moisture plus an acidic ingredient (such as lemon juice, chocolate, buttermilk or honey) together to make batter rise. You can use cream of Tartar as well

      Hi Debi, the best way would be to take a very very small side cutter, available at any hardware or big food chain shops, lift it out with that or if you can grab it with a nail cutter you can pull it out with as well

    What is carbonated soda? Im in Canada...so maybe there is another word for it? Can someone please tell me? I am trying to repair my aunt's chime and its stained on the pipes...whoever put it together also got paint on some of them.

    • @jankotze1959

      Hi Carbonated soda is a powder that you mix with water, when you drink it it helps for Heartburn, you can use plain Soda Water that you buy at shops to mix in Whiskey etc, all drinks like Coke etc have carbonated soda in, it's the stuff that provides the fizz to drinks, hope it helps
