Do the new units have settings like the carriers unit such as floral, fresh meat, 5° variance etc?
Thermo king has “optisets” vs Carrier's “intellisets”. They are labeled the same as what we are used to ie fuel hog, fresh meat, farm feed, etc.
Are the differently named settings going to be reflected in the dispatches?

I bought a precedent c 600 and it wont go above 60 degrees and i told the dealer they said i have to do opti set, is there a video that you have to help me out on this pls let me know
I think the Product button as shown in the video is the Optiset functions… just like Carrier depending on the Optiset or Inteliset… the temp settings are limited
What does it mean when u hit the on button and the logo comes on but switches off right away
Sounds like it possibly a dead battery. You would need to get it into a shop.
How to bypass the trailer doors being open?
Sometimes in multi stop loads it take too long for reefer being off box temp will double easily
Also if you can show us a video on how to prime the unit when it’s totally out of fuel it would be very helpful.

We don’t ever want to run the trailer with the doors open. Refrigeration units work off of circulation, when the doors are open there is no circulation. If the doors are open, the cool air from the reefer gets shot out the back of the trailer and it will draw warm air in on the floor level. Also, pulling all of that warm air into the trailer will more than likely cause issues once you start rolling which= can lead to a trip to the shop and or possibly a claim. That being said, every scenario is different so if you have an issue with the door sensors on the reefer please shoot Road Assist a message so we can address that situation specifically.
Mine doesn’t have the product option it just says set point where it’s at on his. How do I change the product?
Sounds like it might possibly be the unit doesn't have optisets uploaded on it. Can you tell us what the unit # is?
No nursery loads though.
What's wrong with the carrier units that we are trying to get away from?
One of the main differences we've heard from drivers is the noise! The Thermo King units are much more quiet.

Not long! But, we offer several different classes to help continue your knowledge on the road, while also learning to repair common issues with your equipment.
But are they quieter than the carrier units???? 🤔
Word on the street is yes, but we shall see.
Funniest thing I have observed since someone mentioned Thermo King Reefers are quieter. Thermo King Tripac Evolution is a farily quiet APU, The Carrier Comfort pro APU is loud.
Carrier Reefer units tend to be just a bit on the loud side and Thermo King Reefers are a bit quieter. I don't understand this.
Thermoking units run a diffrent set up to carrier. Carrier use a generator which powers the complete unit where thermoking relies on a belt driven system.
The advantage with thermoking comes down to harmonics.
I prefer carriers sweet and simple display.

True but those displays are not as rugged and will Burnout within a few years
Watching how slow the TK units display screen and menu system is compared to carrier is just painful. I hope they are good reefers but I don’t think I want them to make it past the test orders we are doing.

The TK units have always been like this from the past to the present…. I do agree that I wish TK would work on that with their next system… the slowness in the panels is my only complaint but heck I don’t want them to fail Primes test just because of that… they are still very good units
The screens are a tad slower because they're older technology but the Carrier units will have dead screens far more often
@@j.m.5995 i’ve never come across a screen that was completely dead and the unit still worked in my almost 8 years with the company.
carrier x4 has overtaken tk precedent quality and user interface. your etv system in real world application causes more issues than desired. sb series were the golden ages. even your micro p cooled faster than precedent units.

@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING i'm sure there's a reason behind us getting TK reefers, but i'm just not thrilled about it. kinda like going back to "cheaper" Wabash trailers over the Utility ones 🤷🏼♂️ oh well i guess
We are testing 100 out. We test out new equipment every year. Have to continue to compare, review, and try new things.
