How I laid a BRICK PATIO ...never done it before

  • So make it clear - this is NOT an instruction how to lay brick patio and if you wanna do it for the first time, only using this clip as your guide, you must be more crazy than me :)
    If someone want to know, I've used about 130 blocks, 5 bags of sub base, 8 bags of sand and one dog - he was the supervisor for the entire project.

      Definitely use compactor if you can. I didn't have an access to any of them so I end up jumping on everything ;-)

    Also how thick of layer did you put the Paver base and then the sand?

    • @maxiikazz
      @maxiikazz  4 роки тому +1

      To be honest, I don't remember exactly. I think it was about 3 inches sub base and 2 inches sand. If you want to calculate it, try to look for 'patio sand calculator' on google.

  • @butterlit0
    @butterlit0 4 роки тому

    How far down into your lawn did you dig? Would you recommend using the edgers?

    • @maxiikazz
      @maxiikazz  4 роки тому +2

      About 20-25cm (9-10 inches) but that area was for a light use only. If you want to build something more robust, to last longer and can handle more weight, I'd say use edgers and go a bit deeper.
