2019 mercedes glc43 amg front rotor and pad replacement

Very straightforward job. Should be the same on all 43 models, and possibly 53 models. No special tools needed from Mercedes. Recommend getting some e torx sockets

I just did mine and i belief those clips for the bottom of the pads is to stop the pads from making a clunking sound when you brake ...I think .

Might be. The car is my sister in laws and I see it often and it has no noise what so ever, so they could be shims of some sort. Again I didn't use them and all is fine

@@besicm1 Great job but it wont happen right away it will happen over time ..Just in case you hear that clunking ok ..

All parts can be found on fcp euro. Hood on this car is wrapped in clear ppf so I was not worried about scratching. I forgot to mention that you can remove the brake reservoir cap to relieve some pressure and possie remove some brake fluid oil if needed

Is this basically the same process for the rear brakes as well ?

@@markreger7677 yes, but rears have electronic e brake, so need to go into menu and set to service mode
