Ahh yes, despair. I haven't felt this feeling since the Shibuya Incident. JJK 2x19 all over again, felt hope for once and then gone. What an amazing episode, had me on my the edge of my seat. I know it might death be inevitable, but I seriously hope most of them survives.
The movie characters were in multiple manga panels, too (Except 4th movie characters). So manga readers have known for about a year that the movies are canon. Yet there's still people who vehemently disagree (probably mostly anime-only watchers). Wonder if the debate will finally be settled now.
@@BojackReacts People have been calling them 'Filler' for longer, and sure, they are extra content not needed for the anime's viewing experience, but they are still epic as hell and the second one (Heroes Rising) even has pretty significant development for the friendship/comraderie between Bakugou and Midoriya, so not completely useless.
I never realised that Mina could feel guilty, thinking cause of her people died! I teared up the moment they showed her till the very end! Great writting, I wished we saw more of their fights!

Without it mineta would never get his dream of having a...let's say bunch of women... But in the time of need he was protecting his friends twin brother by offering up his own very sense of self (his quirk which translates into individuality power or personality power)
When All For One transformed, that gave me FMA Brotherhood vibes (not sure if you ever watched the show so I don't wanna spoil anything for you. If you haven't, I definitely recommend it as a potential show to react to)!
I noticed something really cool this episode. Back in season 4, when Kirishima was down on himself for freezing up in the face of danger, he was comparing himself to a story he'd seen on the news recently: the story of a boy who rushed into a hostage situation to save his friend. That boy was Deku, saving Kacchan from the slime villain. In this episode, Kirishima didn't hesitate for a second when he saw Shinso being overtaken by the same villain. What a great subtle callback and showing of character growth. He's come so far.

Gotta give to Tokoyami’s Dark Shadow! He was the only one apart from Endeavor to push back All for One like that! Something that even Gigantomachia couldn’t do! Dark Shadow’s insane power was foreshadowed back in Season 2 and especially in Season 3! And such payoff! Kudos to Horikoshi! All for One even acknowledged Tokoyami’s Quirk and wanted to steal his quirk because that was the only one that made All for One flinch on multiple occasions!!! Our Birdboy getting the respect he always deserved!
