Chain pulling is one of the most unique and powerful ways to make a successful painting in abstract art form! I have been watching quite a few tutorials online and I have come to the conclusion that I have to do this myself! It intrigues me how beautiful these pieces turn out! Thank you for sharing your work and expertise with us and your understanding of this style and design. You do yourself proud in your creativity and your execution of the work inspired by your devotion to detail! Thank you for sharing this with us!❤️❤️❤️
Hi Matthew, thank you so much for the lovely comment. I like helping people in their journey. I do have an updated tutorial for a chain pull. You might want to watch it if you like, I go into more detail. It's video number 826. The title is Chain Pulls, All you need to know, A must watch. Thanks again! 😊
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Have been struggling with the chain pulls many canvas and paints later...after watching your video.....I did it ! Thank you! Your work is wonderful!
Magnifique, le résultat est artistique et bluffant , je ne connaissais pas la technique avec la chaîne 👍. Merci pour ce tuto et cette belle découverte.
@@ArtbySusanKing sorry, but my name is Vivi and Fale Com Vovó Vivi is the name of my UA-cam channel in Brazil. I'm going to try to do a canvas with chain. I think is much easier to do with chain than with cotton rope.
@@ArtbySusanKing Well I got some chains thanks to Amazon and I found out that it was not as easy as you make it look to work with chains and paint. It looked so easy, but I will keep going, thanks for the inspiration.
THAT WAS JUST SOOO, BEAUTIFUL ! I'M GONNA TRY IT, AND IF I CAN DO IT ! I'M GONNA SHOW MY MOM, HOW TO DO IT ! CAUSE SHE ALWAYS TELLS ME HOW BORED AHE IS ! NOW THAT SHE'S RETIRED ! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS AMAZING VIDEO ! GOD BLESS !
How absolutely genius, using the chain. The result is even more stunning than just string! I can hardly wait to do some of my own!! Thanks for the inspiration and thank you for taking the time to make this video.
You have so many comments from fans across the world...and they have said it all!! I can only add.. thanks so much for sharing and all the best to you!
I found you by a lucky chance and I have to say Wow !!! That is like magic happening in front of your eyes...Thank you so much for sharing..I cant wait to start mine.
totaly awesome. I'm used to painting in oil. I will definitely try this. it looks fairly easy and such a beautiful outcome. thanks for taking the time to show this great idea.
Wow! This is the first time I’ve actually watched a chain pull and the results are just awesome! I love it! The background colours are beautiful. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me ... I’m off to give it a try - the housework will just have to wait!🤗💖
I keep a lot of chains but got no idea what to do with them. Now that i've watched ur video those chains will be of use and I'm so excited to do ur art .it's really wonderful.tnx
Beautiful! I absolutely love the chain idea way easier than getting the string out of the paint. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing. It gives me ideas of other things that could be used, I will be experimenting. :)
I did try the chai pull chain pull. I tried 3 different chains. I preferred the ball key chain because it rolls when you drag the chain. Also, I found that you need to use as little paint as possible on the chain. I felt that it gave a better definition to the flower. Thanks again. I pick up something new every time I watch your videos.
I AM BACK. Hi! I believe that he is talking about the type of chain used on ceiling fan pulls. They are also used by the military for "dog" tags or identification tags
That's a very cool technique! Thank you very much for sharing your skills and knowledge. I just feel I must try this with different types of chains! Great stuff, Susan!
Susan genius using a chain, would never have thought to do this. The chain brings almost small petals unlike string. I must try this but will have trouble finding a chain that is not gold...second hand shop might be the answer for the chain. To paint this by hand would take a great deal of time, and may not be as successful as your method.....big hug and hands across the ocean, Cheers from Australia..
Hi from Australia. Thank you so much for your advice, I would never have thought of going to a craft store for a chain, as I do not make jewelry. You are a dear for telling me this..hugs from Aussie Land and have a grand day where ever you are....Cheers.
New Orleans, sadly I never got to go there when in the USA. It seems such a lively place filled with history and some wonderful architecture. One day I shall go there god willing. So lovely where is your artwork? Anywhere on UA-cam, if so would love to see it. I am not on UA-cam to chicken ha ha I just post my work on Facebook. Thank you for your kindness and beautiful manners..Cheers from Mount Tamborine Queensland Australia (type what I have given you into google images and that is exactly where I live in a rain forest)..hugs from over the ocean.
