@@DirtNDiesel that’s actually a good idea. I’ve been thinking about that too. It should cut down on some of that heat as well as make the cup holders useable for cold drinks haha
Have you considered removing your primary spring? It lowers your rpms dramatically. I’m not certain if you can still hit 65 or not. I rarely get above 50. But between 25-45 the machine is a lot quieter. You lose a little engine braking in high but other than that it rides the same.
Agree, and it does not affect top speed at all. Makes the machine way more enjoyable to ride at cruising speeds. This sound deadening trick is a nice easy bonus.
@@DirtNDiesel It’s very easy too. You pull off the cvt cover, undo the two primary cage bolts and 2 cage nuts, pull out I think 9 screws on the plate and the spring is right behind the plate. 20 minute job. If you don’t like it, it and easy swap back in.
Where would you suggest deadening on my pioneer 700 deluxe? I have a hard top, glass windows, rear with glass, hard doors so I have to do something! Where do you suggest? Anyone?
Behind the backrest, the front of the bed, in front of the seat platform, under the center of the seat. Avoid put sound deadening on the exterior! I used a product that is black on both sides. I didnt want to reflect heat back toward the engine or have any reflective surface! Also think about modifying the exhaust with aftermarket products. I put a silent rider on mine to quiet the exhaust.
i used the same sound mat on my pioneer when i installed the rzr seats.worked well.worked even better around the foot pedals to keep out the water.
Does that also help with heat at all?
Great video, I'm going to do the same to mine. Do you have videos of the other sound deadening locations yet?
Cool video. Do you have any other locations on the KRX that you may want to apply the sound mat?
I may add some to the back wall one day but not now. I am going to add some pipe insulation to the cooling system that runs in the center console.

I have not, thank you for the tip!

@@atcdan133 Thank you for the Information!
what push pin pliers do you use? do they work on the Pioneer also or ar they a different angle?
I use these, they work for most the push pins on both machines, but not all depending on the type.
