This is a welcome development. I think the intracity trains that is in the pipeline will help to ease the stress on Lagos roads soon. An expedited action should be put in place to accelerate the completion of the project so as to aid commercial activities in the state. Once people can move around safely in a timely manner to conduct their businesses there won't be any need to drive their personal cars anymore.

It is a welcome developement, Lagos state should take this and other matters seriously, it is almost too late. It is high time Nigeria starts fixing up and doing the right things. The impunity of Nigerians is a shame and Nigerians take this behaviour to other African countries that are doing things right.

Uncle Yori, thanks for bringing this video. Your guest is very ‘good/sound’ in her answers to all questions putting to her 👍🏾

Good question, Uncle Yori about the approval of building plans by the state government.

Uncle Yori, do they put into consideration the cases of local roadside mechanics who are constituting nuisances in the streets ?

Their are laws in the book my friend. If they execute 40% of the laws in Lagos/Nigeria, that country would work

Interesting, the Government always make the citizens the problem & not hold itself accountable for approving these businesses without adequate provision for parking. Since everyone should be held accountable, the Government should now help to support these businesses to secure adequate parking where possible. Government should step up & deal with it’s internal problem & stop throwing blames.

What they do in the United States 🇺🇸 take for example the Airport has parking, however there are Private Vendors that have Hugh parking lots maybe 25 mins away or less from the airport where people pay to park thier cars and there’s an hourly shuttle bus service that takes the people from the car park to the airport. Mind you the car park has 2 or 3 paid employees that watch over the cars and no body is allowed there except Customers.

How about the Danfo drivers stopping to pick and drop passengers anywhere?

Mr Iyori must one go to an event centre with his or her car? Cant they go with public transport? JUST wait for them to park wrongly and you give them fine. We have the same problem in UK. Parking is too expensive in London. Most of us use public transport. Even London black cab divers use public transport when they are going to club for weekend fun.

It is so unfortunate that uncle Yori and the lady laughed over the main issue with traffic issue in Lagos. Why are private vehicle getting harassment for road worthiness when the Danfos buses don’t care. They are not held to the same standard when it comes to road worthiness and parking. It is so sad that we continue to pacify the madness of yellow buses. Whatever you are planning will not work unless and until you deal with those yellow trouble called danfos. Mega city can not operate like this. Laughing at the main issue will not solve the problem.

Oluomo is owned by Tinubu. LASMA understands the political situation in Lagos. The touts, garage gangsters and area boys vota for APC. So, who is going to penalize the yellow bus drivers. Don't hold your breath.

@@Truth.setyoufree You are so right but it is a sad state. Some people are above the law, I guess.

Another good idea but area boys will not allow the idea to work. Area boys are majority voters of APC. So, another job created for Tinubu cronies. Goodluck people of Lagos. Government that doesn't work.

Another hater, jealous wasted soul. Leave Lagos for the indegenes. They are extremely happy with the progress of Lagos. If you don't like it go and live somewhere else.

This is pure duplication. LASTMA can still handle it effectively. It will amount to colossal waste in the long run.
