Yep. The Lamborghini Huracan Performante might actually be the best car ever created in HISTORY for the price to enjoy on the road. It is just THAT good and just THAT fun. The EVO RWD is a close 2nd in terms of value for the money. (EVO RWD is cheaper than the EVO AWD - although the EVO AWD is just as insane). I’ve never driven the Tecnica, but I assume it’s probably very similar to the EVO RWD. And with the next gen cars being hybrids and EV focused, this NA v10 engine will be a national treasure sought by wealthy collectors everywhere when nostalgia kicks in and future cars will have fake engine noises coming from the speaker systems and silent electric motors. If you own a Huracan Performante, do not sell it!!! Trust me!!! In Japan, the car collectors are hoarding to buy anything v10 or v12 as the EV generation takes over due to political influence and regulations!!
Totally agree drove both and still own EVO RWD. Incredible car!!!!! Even had the Aventador. The Huracan is a fun overpowered go cart and everyday driver if desired.
I’ve had the Murcielago, Aventador and now the Huracan EVO Spyder RWD. Nothing like this EVO for total fun and drivability. Overpowered go kart. And and engine and transmission next to none!!!
My buddy has had both perf and STO and says a lot of the same things. He also said that the STO feels neutered in 1st and 2nd gear because it can’t put the power down being 2wd. The AWD cars just pull harder down low.
That's my dream car, the STO is just better looking. But the Performante is more unique and badass. That forged carbon and matte gray spec is perfection!

Bought my Verde Scandal Performante about a month ago. Absolutely love this car and the visceral driving experience. Easily the greatest car I've ever driven or owned.
Yes! I drove an STO and an Evo. I ended up buying a Verde mantis Performante. It was and is the very best they make currently. Now they have the Tecnia, so we will see but so far? Performante is IT! I love mine.
I agree and I doubt the STO is actually faster on the track than the Performante, there is a reason why Lamborghini hasn‘t published any official Nordschleife time for the STO. 👀 Remember: The Performante was the fastest series production car on the Nordschleife when it came out five years ago. Corsa mode changes the whole character of the car, the engine, the gearbox, the steering, the noises, everything switches to an incredibly analogue drive feel. Best car I ever owned, I hope I can afford to keep it forever. 😎
Corsa requires manual shifting at all times. No alternative. Sport allows both transmission modes. Corsa leans out the fuel ratios affecting the exhaust which optimizes performance for track however when the it’s running so lean the exhaust doesn’t have fuel to burn and it’s not as loud (perceived sound) and lacks the rich fuel gurgles and pops which is the main reason why nobody drives in Corsa unless racing or on a track. Sport drives better and sounds better on the streets in public
I have the exact same feelings, I own a 2017 Perf, and was pretty determined to start saving up and trade it in on an STO in one/two years from now, but I am not so sure anymore, it looks better/more radical, but on the inside the difference is not night and day, so maybe I will then go the 812SF route, hmmm difficult.

I would put the Tecnica at a very close second. I love this car. owning both I still believe Perf is slightly superior but not by a huge margin. How they are able to put the STO attributes into a daily friendly suspension and rear wheel driving LVDI system is just amazing.

@@ricardoalonso2058 Perf is all wheel drive and still continues to be the best Lambo ever built. but tecnica is more fun to drive due to rear wheel drive. It's lighter and faster than the STO. If you want a fun car for the weekend thats more tolerable on the road and is rear wheel drive I think Tecnica is better.
Thanks a lot!. I had some Porsche like the 991 GT3RS and the 991 Turbo but after testing the McLaren 720s, I want an exotic. Something that I can take to the track, two or three days per year and to drive in the mountains with friend in weekends. What would you recommend?. I loved that the McLaren was fast, raw very well planted and focused on driving or it kills you (love that feeling). No experience at all with Lambos so looking for the best recommendation. I considered the 488 but maybe is more a gran turismo feeling… and not that raw.

on the sound i don´t agree. STO & TECNICA with valve control does sound at least as good as the PERF. even below 4000rpm. for me the PERF was a one of the best lambos too. the STO and the TECNICA are more fun to drive because of the RWD... biggest problem on the PERF - there is no more warranty avaliable
Oh loved the review. Thank you for the comparison. I own and perf and don’t want the sto. Its slower and makes less noise. They say its a track car but no Nurburgring record. So must be flawed.
Can u buy an LFA and do a review. U should try older cars to widen ur audience base. Maybe Ferrari 512M, Porsche Carrera GT. Heck buy an MP4 12C and compare it to the newer Mc Larens. U should try exotics from the 90s, early 2000s and see what they are all about too. Lotus Esprit S4S, NSX T and 355 are great cars.

It's a shame this is another video for clicks rather than being factual. yea, a Perf sounds louder stock as the valves work differently, but as a Lamborghini owner, you should know you can unplug the valve connector which literally takes 2 minutes and no tools and you have a straight pipe STO. which sounds no worse than the perf. no reason to throw shade at the STO especially if the facts are wrong. the downside of the STO to the perf is just the lack of luggage space which it easily makes up in how much lighter it feels and how much better the brakes are.
Prefer the Gallardo even pre LP it’s more Lambo than this, even the LP Gallardo used the R8 5.2 the only thing that lets the Gallardo down is the single clutch E gear system.
Nope although it was until the Tecnica was launched. Tecnica takes best bits of STO and Evo RWD to be the best road going Lambo ever. Also as order books for tecnica were only open for 2 months the tecnica will be the rarest Huracan of them all with really limited production numbers

Order books were literally open for max 2 months and my Lambo dealer in UK only had 6 slots for VIP customers. At that rate UK will see circa 50 units and we are normally 10% of worldwide production. Reckon it will be around 600 units worldwide but certainly no more than a 1,000 making it the rarest Huracan model, far less than Performante and STO
Yeah the perf is a amazing hurican. It's fast asf it sounds amazing and looks good. But my favorite hurican is the evo hands down.. it's perfect to me lol.. my dad has a perf and is actually trading it on a evo. He offered me the perf for 260 and I almost done it.. but backed off.. 260k for a car is ridiculous 😆 idc what it is. I already have 3 lambos anyway that iv worked on and rebuilt over the last few yrs. I got em cheap. Well 2 of em I did and one I paid 88,500 for. I bought a Diablo for 88 grand it's originally red white white interior that has red stitching in it.. but the last and original owner had that done to it.. I had it wrapped in a jet black wrap had work done to it. Atm it's pushing Lil over 1100hp but I get nervous cause of the age of the engine itself. Even tho it's been rebuilt and looked over very well.. it's a str8 bad ass Diablo I drive it alot like seriously alot alot. And I have a 2015 hurican it's white and it's supercharged atm.. I'm definitely going twin turbs for it.. I'll lose instant 900hp but it'll be 1100 1200ish after the twin turbo install. So I'm looking forward to that and then I have a lambo I actually don't like 😂 and it's the 2011 Gallardo it's yellow but wrapped black so it looks nicer.. it's super charged as well has a few things done to it.. and atm I'm talking to my dad's friend about doing a str8 up trade for his white contach which is one of my dream cars.. yeah it's blocky n all but damn I grew up with it ya kno. I had the poster of the Diablo and contach and the F50 on my wall.. and I got the Diablo now I need the contach to go with it.. the hurican I'm planning on keeping for ever lol 😆.. but I may end up selling it and getting the evo... After driving just about every car, I always come back to LAMBORGHINI. I had an STOwas disappointed in the sound. I put an acropvic exhaust. Valve controller so that it sounds better at low rpm. It still never sounded as good as my prrfornante or my rear wheel Spider for that matter Evo. I am going to buy another pair for Monday. I think it's for the money one of the greatest cars ever made. It is not the fastest that's a big mistake I made in the past switching to MCLAREN because of the speed from LAMBORGHINI, what a big mistake that was. LAMBORGHINI rules you got everything to sound the drama and it's fast enough. How fast do you wanna go on regular city streets anyway? It could be terrifying at what the sky could do anything above that you're a fool fool

STO did have a cupholder option. Travel pack I think. I did not spec it on mine as I did want that carbon fiber piece.
