she is ending streaming activities but she is still going to be around she probably wants to focus less on the "channel" and more the hololive as the other entertainment they provide.
I don't think this song was written about an immediate someone leaving, but just the fact that idols do eventually graduate and move on a different stage. Like Gura singing "you're gunna miss me when I'm gone" its emotional because there is a message there, someday, and I think that's why end of a life was so emotional and beautiful in the anniversary concert
great editing, I had to skip this stream as it was far past my bedtime. appreciate the clip! I'm sure we only saw the iceberg of people in chat who were positive and melancholy, but there's ALWAYS the vocal minority who feel the need to lash out or create false narratives like 'this vtuber has beef with this other vtuber so their song is singling them out' or 'they obviously were referring to this person'. If not for drama, where would the world be?
Rather than hinting at the people that are going to leave, it makes more sense to think Last Days is about the people that had already left. This year alone, hololive lost 4 members, and we can't even imagine what else could be happening to Calli's life outside work.
Oh wow, I didn't even realize Ame was graduating, it's good to hear the graduation is mutual and I'm excited for her future. I've definitely never thought any streamer, Hololive or otherwise is going to stream forever. I don't think most people want to do any job forever. Life is too short, even for immortal mythological anime girls, and sometimes new jobs and opportunities pop up that require more of your attention and you need to step down from previous obligations to be able to follow that new path. It doesn't mean you didn't enjoy the path you were on, it doesn't mean you didn't enjoy the company of your companions on that path, it only means a new path has opened. Those old friends will still be friends, that old path will still be tread later by others who wish to walk it, but this new path and adventure awaits.
Sure, you can say that Myth will "always be Myth," but let’s be honest-no one was making that claim during the fourth anniversary. We’ve seen similar phrasing with "Council will always be Council", even after becoming Promise, but it’s hard to ignore the timing here. Ame could have announced her graduation earlier, allowing the theme to be something like, "We will always be Myth, no matter what happens." But that’s not what fans took from it. The message during the anniversary felt like a statement of intent-that Myth wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Many, including Kiara, felt let down because the theme felt deceptive in hindsight. It’s not that Myth ceases to exist, but the way it was presented made it seem like there was no reason to worry. In that context, perhaps more sensitivity could have been shown when choosing the theme.
A graduation is full on cessation of activities under the name. Concluding streaming activities means that she is no longer streaming, but can be part of projects or collaborations. Basically, she'll be around and you'll still see her every now and then.
@@timepatroltrunks8276 Ame (and other members) have already said this is not true. She's not going to work for Cover full time in any capacity anymore.
Let's hope this experiment woth Ame is a success causing a somewhat still affiliated to Hololive even if they stop activities they can still appear occasionally like music artists in labels. They might not be Taylor Swift but their characters are real. Idol industry needs to change if they are aiming.for international appeal. Graduations are just crippling everything from the talents, corp and community. Rather have them in royalties, so the merch still sells and the fans still can appreciate the girls specially if they're having talent heavy card games and such. Keep them in touch and invite them on special occasions.
so as i was listening to this as Cali was talking about last days an emergency vehicle went by and i did check to see if that was part of the video or not but it just seems like mere coincidence that it happened like that XD
Should have been Myth5ever then. Funny internet use of 5ever has been a thing for a while theres five of them so it makes sense since they are internet celebs initially, so having the 4ever and ame leaving ish connects those dots
Those people should get off the internet for a while and touch grass. No sane person looks at 4ever and says it was a secret message. "4" "four" "for" makes perfect sense in the conversion.
As long as Ame is still there, I don't feel as sad. True sadness is her disappearing forever. But she's working in the background and basically becoming management and showing up for events. Like how that one hololive clips animator BluezKaito includes Sana in all his videos, if you watch it consistently, it's like she's still there. As long as Amelia doesn't fully fade away into obscurity and has a presence. That's all that matters. She doesn't need to stream, she can upload prerecorded videos and people would still love her. Just like how Jontron uploads like once a year and still has a massive fan base.
She's not working in the background and she's not joining management. This has been clarified again by Ina. Just showing up for special events sometimes 👍 Ame also clarified in the comments that if someone at holo asks her for tech help ofc she'll reply, but that is completely different from her usual role of driving holo projects forward.
Because it was stupid to keep Irys as her own solo thing considering how much she did with Council and Cluncil had just lost a member. It wouldn’t make sense for Myth to rebrand. Especially when the 4 left are the actual Myths in the lore
IMO they almost certainly did it because for IP purposes, this way Council will always be 5, CouncilRyS can always be 6, and Promise refers to specifically IRyS, Fauna, Kronii, Mumei, Bae. (Merchandise legal implications?) We might see Calli, Kiara, Ina, and Gura rebrand (and the other "partial" gens), we might not. But for now because of Ame's affiliate status, Myth doesn't need to as much as Council did.
appreciate what we have now but prepare your mind and heart for it to end because everything does eventually end. One day all the EN people you love will stop streaming, maybe even Hololive itself will end in the future. That's just reality.
I'm not one of those unhinged people ranting and raving about this sort of thing, and I wish Ame the best in the future. But... It does feel like the TIMING of her going right after the anniversary with included song about Myth Forever was a little... I dunno. Tone deaf maybe? I think the better thing to do would've been to have Amelia Graduate well in advance of the anniversary, then have her come back for it to sing and dance and hang out with Myth. That way "Myth Forever" would've felt more like a promise for the future and already illustrating that they mean it. That even though Ame isn't streaming anymore, she isn't "gone". The way they did it with them saying "Myth Forever" then Amelia immediately retiring afterwards feels very... Odd to say the least. So I understand why some folks would have an issue with that. But i'm sure when she comes back for something in the future, it'll help alleviate those sorts of concerns.
Well my thought is, if you guys are actually gonna stay friends and stay working together, yeah, then it's not cap. I only dislike it when content creators and stuff really do break ties with someone (or that person up and LEAVES) and everyone for the sake of the fans feelings keeps up the façade that they're all together. But if Ame is still floating around up there in space with Sana than I don't mind keeping it 4Ever5!
I can get where the people upset about Myth Forever are coming from after how Council, Project Hope, and Promise was handled, but between Ame not being gone forever and there not being anything they can roll into Myth to rebrand it, I think we should focus on supporting our 5 pioneers as best we can rather than being butthurt over effectively nothing.
I desperately hope people will get there acts together after Ame is gone. I couldn't handle it if people start doing what they still do with Sana. Always trying to forcefully inject her in everything instead of learning to let go. I worry that the fact that Ame may actually be present for future stuff means that people will forever bother the girls about if she'll be in any project that comes up. Over the years the chats and comments have been filling with annoying people that have no manners. Hell there's a clipper that makes fun 3D animations for every clip, but I hate watching them because he puts Sana in every single one like she was there. I really like Justice and with how hard Cover is investing in EN I like to imagine that the future is bright. But I just don't know. I guess only time will tell.
Myth forever is such a joke statement to make when Gura is not even streaming on normal days except for anniversary and the merch related streams, Ina is gone since 2021, even Calli stops streaming regularly since 2 years ago. Kiara has been the only person who puts in effort to stream. Everyone else is busy doing literally nothing.
I can see what you mean about Gura, but after checking just now, Calli doesn't seem stream rarely, and Ina especially seems to still stream a lot, in fact almost every 2-3 days for the past couple months. So... what are you on about?

I love Calli and Myth, but I have to respectfully disagree. To me at least, Myth is done. 80% of a thing is not the same as the thing itself. I hope the remaining members go on for many more fun and successful years, but it won't be as Myth. That's over.
This is kind of Kiara's feeling, too - even if Myth is still doing group activities, its not going to be the same for Kiara. They are both valid opinions/feelings but I side with Kiara. Its not going to be the same. Myth as we know them are pretty much done. Its up to them how they are going to move forward. Kind of like Promise with Sana. They have move forward even if its not the same.
That myth collab was so sad but very good for a lot of us, but it was freaky for myself, just thinking "what input can i even say besides o7's and well wishes just" then typing 'myth4ever' into chat, remembering that phrase and thinking it'd go on by and be gone but no, 1 minute later chat just exploding using it, just made me go: this community the HLen girls have made, fostered and brought to fruition, truly is amazing! From how we can all become connected over a common passion we love and for the people who make this community the type it is, how we can think so similarly and be positively unreal when we REALLY want to be! (which should be all the time when it comes to this stuff but you can always have toxics, and there was none for that last collab though!) and i was sad but loved that stream, it really broke the whole illusion and showed us the genuine people behind those models really do have each others backs! i really hope Ame all the best on her adventures in the future and looking forward to seeing where and when we may see her next! It's like how Sana is eternal. She'll always be their genmate in and out of HoloLive. 💛
Myth is forever not matter what even after Ame stops activities her Ame and Myth’s legacy will live on forever.
Not Myth4Ever... Myth5Ever! Thats more than 4ever.
And also theres 5 of them
I'm glad they'll still be in contact with each other at least.
great editing, I had to skip this stream as it was far past my bedtime. appreciate the clip!
Damnit despite all the silly edits, the mini flashbacks broke me. Damn you
Last Days somehow really shocked me even if she really dropped a meteoric size of a hint, never thought that it is gonna be so soon..
I do feel what she's saying about Myth4ever. Felt that about past grads too. Still a tough situation but... We keep going.
myth are the TRAILBLAZERS in en vtubing scenethey are the prototype and my oshi forever
Dammit Lapen, how dare you hit me in the heart with the smol dogpile.
Myth4ever means we will remember them, forever and ever.
Myth is forever eternal
Rather than hinting at the people that are going to leave, it makes more sense to think Last Days is about the people that had already left. This year alone, hololive lost 4 members, and we can't even imagine what else could be happening to Calli's life outside work.
You really had to end this with Ame's iteration of Violet
Sad to see the end of an era.
😭ameeeeeeeeeeeeee why now why this timeline what did we do to deserve this 😭
AME will come back for large events.
This, too, shall pass.
Well said
Some people are far too emotionally invested in other people’s lives without any real consideration for them
True, I get that you love a vtuber, but take in consideration everyones feelings while also try to understand that this is a job at the end of the day
The whole industry is based off of making people that way for profit
Myth4EVER!
Calli's got like 3 or 4 songs that are just going to destroy people at her graduation
How is "concluding streaming activities" different from "graduating"?
Ame said that she might still do some work with Hololive to support EN, but she isn't going to do any more idol or streaming stuff.
She’ll make an occasional appearance here and there
A graduation is full on cessation of activities under the name.
Concluding streaming activities means that she is no longer streaming, but can be part of projects or collaborations. Basically, she'll be around and you'll still see her every now and then.
She's likely transitioning to staff with the new EN HQ
Myth Golden girls arc when?
falseeyed mentioned what ame's other name is so its not like she's gone gone just like magni and coco theyre still around
feels bad man :/
By her hair. Everywhere. Oh.
Wink Wink
Lore wise, Ame is just a human, Gura and Kiara are mythical creatures and Ina is possessed by the Ancient Ones.
so as i was listening to this as Cali was talking about last days an emergency vehicle went by and i did check to see if that was part of the video or not but it just seems like mere coincidence that it happened like that XD
1:55 when did that happen?
@@Novanice So she won't even show up during Enrico part 2? If she shows up for massive group events once a year, it would be enough.
@@Hathathorne I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the events might be, doubt they'll give us a detailed list so far in advance.
People quit jobs for multiple reasons. Just let her be guys.
There's a reason IRyS, Fauna, Kronii, Mumei, and Bae rebranded as Promise.
(Merchandise legal implications?)
We might see Calli, Kiara, Ina, and Gura rebrand (and the other "partial" gens), we might not. But for now because of Ame's affiliate status, Myth doesn't need to as much as Council did.
I just don't get why Ame left and didn't even give us the reason why... It's unfair.
Man....ame...💛
People do not like change. Shocking.
Calli always looking at the bad comments.
I'm sorry but Ina should be Betty White. If anything Kiara is more like Blanche. Calli is perfect as Bea Aurthur, and Gura as Sophia.
appreciate what we have now but prepare your mind and heart for it to end because everything does eventually end.
But if Ame is still floating around up there in space with Sana than I don't mind keeping it 4Ever5!
wink wink😉
I can get where the people upset about Myth Forever are coming from after how Council, Project Hope, and Promise was handled, but between Ame not being gone forever and there not being anything they can roll into Myth to rebrand it, I think we should focus on supporting our 5 pioneers as best we can rather than being butthurt over effectively nothing.
I think will got hard Gura, cause Gura is best friends to Ame.
@@ogeyrat a stream is a stream. Doesn't matter what it is. Furthermore, for Ina'nis, her drawing skills have been one of her main appeals from the very start.
@@ogeyrat also, no one asked your opinion either yet you posted the initial comment. Or what, you expected your comment to stand as an unquestioned monument? Don't be ridiculous. You post a comment, expect dissidence. Your ow importance means absolutely nothing merely for posting the original comment.
This is all so needlessly dramatic. She didn’t even graduate. She said she’ll still be stopping by from time to time. She might even resume streaming in the future. Why is everybody treating this like a funeral?
1:04 lmao that -Gilmore- Golden Girls edit
that Beats n Shapes ending goes so hard.
Myth will be forever even after they all leave. Their legacy is eternal
I love Calli and Myth, but I have to respectfully disagree. To me at least, Myth is done. 80% of a thing is not the same as the thing itself. I hope the remaining members go on for many more fun and successful years, but it won't be as Myth. That's over.
Double digit iq take
This makes no sense
@@BigMicahCmore like single digit
Imagine being on the internet and going full stupid. You never go full stupid.
1:04 that's not fair.........
(whenever that time comes)
Myth4Ever, never meant only 4, but that myth will be together '4ever', the 4 and (when)ever ame may appear again!
This did not help. But thank you.
1:03 Brilliant Edit.
I was thinking when watching this, " this is a good time to listen to ' end of a life ' " when the end credit is really that song😂
