Ive never seen anyone draw this way before. By putting down areas of color first in certain shapes and then later going over them with a colored pencil to add details! I will have to try this..
Give it a go! I really enjoy it, of course it can go wrong but that’s why we keep trying haha
they definitely went out on a limb with that shape. Being different is cool
True, definitely would have to use a whole other factory to all the other brands (not saying they use the same one but you never know!)

@moobie_ well in recent years there's been an influx of alcohol markers. Most tend to go with a copic looking barrel. This brand however chose to go with a different shape completely which is interesting because I'm sure that decision isn't cheap

The thin flat bodies remind me of like Finecolours! I find those types of markers super nice to hold so might need to give these a chance if I see them!

For sure, I’m always needing markers as I use them for my comics (but refills are becoming more of an option). I like testing stuff for UA-cam so that’s why I sometimes grab interesting art supplies. I do think all alcohol markers (that I’ve used) are very similar tho

Thanks for the video.👏It's actually a product I haven't seen. With the small, non-roll barrel, low odor, and $55 for 80 markers price, you would probably be okay with giving them to your school age children if you didn't like them. I appreciate the sturdy storage container. I'm sure the markers need to have a few kinks worked out due to their newness. They appear to come with a blender and swatching will help with determining if the initial colors/nibs will work for your style. I would buy them... maybe in 4-6 months after they've gone through a revision. Great review!

Thank you! I recently got into adult coloring pages. Basically finding artists on social media who make pages for coloring. I am always looking out for different brands of markers(especially ones that are cheaper than copic). I mainly use Ohuhu but I’ll have to check these out as well!! Thank you so much 😊

Thank you! I use all sorts of markers tbh, I got sent a lot of Arrtx ones a few years ago (video on my channel) but I used most of them up as I draw my comics with them. Then ohuhu sent me a lot and now I have these also ( I bought these) but I am lucky as I sometimes get sent them! But any of those brands are great it just depends on what you prefer. If you haven’t tried them before ohuhu and Arrtx are cheaper so worth a go!

I always get so frustrated looking at all these lovely markers and gel pens. Only to click onto the link and find out its not available in the uk 😭
Aw I know I got them as I’m living in Spain. Hopefully they will be available soon in the UK!
Are those markers refillable?
As far as I know, they don’t have refills yet but I’m sure you could use any other marker refills if you wanted to keep them!
My himi gouache caught fungus.i had to scrap off a lot of it..Has that happened with you?
Yes! When there was a little hole in the plastic lid. I threw away the worst ones but revived others. Hope that helps!
A lot of people complain about fungus. There is a special Himi spray bottle you can use so you’re paint won’t get it.
You can add a dot of clove oil to help prevent fungus.

Copics are hella overpriced. I like to use Ohuhu, myself, which are comparably better for affordability with quality akin to Copics. Its nice to see more options to choose from when shopping for quality markers so that people dont have to waste their money on Copics, which fade dramatically over time.
I know Ohuhus have a wider color range now, and are also refillable. Im excited to see other brands rise up. I liked Jazza's videos breaking down markers and the different brush tips.
ohuhu markers will also fade over time. that's just the nature of the Dye used in them. so that's unfair towards Copic.
also Jazza is sponsored by Ohuhu so any review of the markers he puts out is biased as hell.
Refillable? only 50 shades. where's the rest of the inks for the 300+ markers they have.
someone unbiased towards getting free stuff from Ohuhu put them to the test. they gave up testing them because it was hell.
copics DO NOT fade overtime unless you got scammed. Copic's colors last for decades.
Except for the lid they look exactly like copic markers.

I mean, all art supplies have many brands and this is a good thing. Copic are very unaffordable for most people!
I’d rather a dupe of copic that’s more affordable and works just a same then drop a couple hundred dollars just to get the same amount of markers from copic
