Before I open the "puzzle box," I understand the Bible is a picture of Jesus, so I thank the Holy Spirit for his word and ask the Him to show me Jesus in his word. Aftef all, Jesus was the Word that was made flesh.
Many psalms have a chiastic structure. For example ABCDCBA. For Psalm 8 the outside pair is hard to miss. With a jigsaw puzzle starting with the edges is one strategy. With a psalm it's often the centre which is most important and there are often matching sections on each side of it. If you don't want to work from first principles then searching for the "chiastic structure" of any passage is likely to provide someone else's suggested pattern although those are obviously not infallible. For the psalms you could also try listening to a sung version or singing it yourself.
If there is no sexual intercourse in heaven because it is only an illustration of the spiritual intimacy and fellowship with Jesus and other people in heaven, then what was the point in using sexual intercourse between a husband and wife as an illustration of the marriage to Jesus? Because you can have the same intimacy and fellowship with unmarried people by loving your neighbour as yourself, and you can cultivate spiritual beauty to give to other men and women regardless of marital status. Marital sexual intercourse seems completely unrelated to the spiritual intimacy and beauty in heaven. Maybe the intimacy and beauty of sexual intercourse within marriage illustrates how good the spiritual intimacy and beauty of Jesus and everyone else will be in heaven, such that spiritual intimacy and beauty on earth cannot illustrate?
"Let me see if I can help", Pastor John is like a doctor for our faith haha.
