You left out that the Xenomorphs tried to make him mate with his own mother. He decided instead to end her life and put hefout of her misery. They didn't like that too much. That's why they put him back up on the wall and tried to get a facehugger to stick on his face and implant a xenomorph inside of him. This comic was pretty brutal, but it was great. UA-cam channel Alien Theory has read most of the Alien and Predator comics and puts them o. His channel. He does a great job. If you haven't checked his channel out you seriously should go and give it a listen. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed this very much! Vid ideas: predator vs. any given heavy hitters in the alien/pred universe. Have vids that showcase different predators vs elite humans from various predator or alien movies. Different predators vs engineers, xenomorphs etc. I feel like the possibilities with hypothetical versus scenarios could be fun and expansive. I know there is some of this type of material on the channel already
"Labyrinth" was for me the very first piece of Alien media beyond the - at this time - 3 movies.
I believe they definitely took some inspiration from this comic regarding aspects like the Goo & how it can mutate & alternative ways the Xeno's can reproduce/continue the life cycle when they wrote Prometheus/Covenant
The pathogen wasn't even a thing back in the aliens comic days
I like the idea of someone being captive in a situation like this, but instead of trying to escape they started to experiment and change themselves into an alien by using that slime to mutate their body to mix it with the alien DNA somewhat becoming a queen to the aliens by using this slime and perform experiments instead destroying the hive becoming one with it so when the rescue ship showed up, they would make the aliens capture the crew so they can perform experiments on them by mixing the goop and creating new abominations because of their fascination with science and biology of the xenomorph
