Vernon Ill. and at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Due to Cardiomyapathy Susan Burkhart was in need of a heart transplant which she received on January 17th, 1983.     My neighbor died this week...after surviving 37 years with her heart transplant.
