Doing that, you could mess with time, change reality, control people, teleport anywhere you want, become insanely powerful, and talk to dead people. If you think about it, you are in area 51. So unless you have time to make a wish from shenron before you get jumped, theres not much you can really do. But the dragon balls are sooo much better. Just wish for the dragon radar, what you want and then get shenron to make you skedaddle out of there.
As a dragon ball fan I can confirm that you need piccolo’s friend so that he can make shenron grant you 3 wishes. If you don’t he can only grant 1. I know this from the super: super hero movie.
