I was Siza before we got a dog at home about 5 years ago ne. I was SO against the idea. And guess what, we ended up getting a dog. Listen, that dog was MY BABY 😭😭I fell in love with it and one would not say that I was against the idea. Unfortunately he died and we cannot live without a dog at home. We currently have 2. So Zwandi, don't give up on Siza shame lol. Siza just try for 2 weeks nje. And yes please can we have that meet and greet tu!

I think this is a conversation about compromise. There are probably many things that Siza never wanted but Zwandi wanted but because it'sa union... you come to common ground. But honestly a dog brings so much warmth in the house and are loving. They do cute things. Pets are kids to some people. I have had a number of puppies that lived with me/us in the house. Ate everything we ate and slept with us. They become a part of you. The one thing my mom doesn't like about us having pets was each time one of them dies... it's a trauma to us. Heart breaking and many times they would avoid telling me about it. The bond is too strong. They (dogs) even feel what you are feeling and try to cheer you up. Get a dog... she will love it because it's your's and she loves you.
I'm with Siza on the pet situation. If she doesn't want the dog DON'T GET THE DOG‼‼That is a valid reason for me. ANIMALS are not the same as HUMANS. Finish & KLAAR. We don't need additional footsteps or breathing WHATSOEVER. A new addition to the family can be a goldfish🤣🤣😂😂🐟🐟

For how often you guys travel, I would say it's not a good idea to get a pet. It's not easy leaving them behind with other people or at dog hotels and the dog sometimes develops separation anxiety and could act out because of that.

Lool unfortunately I'm with Zwandi on the cooking thing. I'm the only girl with two brothers. My mom taught me how to cook when i was probably 12 and my brothers started really learning when they were in their 20s at my insistence bc if my mom and i were unavaible bekulalwa kungadliwe endlini and i thought that was whack. The same thing Zwandi does in asking for exact measurements when cooking is exactly how my brothers were/are (when learning a new dish) and as the expert you have to be precise in your instructions.. lmao many times ive been vague and given generic instructions thinking, "Hayi uyabona naye ukuthi kuhamba kanjani." tholukuthi weeehh akaboni niks😂so you have to be patient and precise and once he's made the dish a few times he'll start to see the pattern and then know how to wing it.

In terms of getting a dog I used to be like Siza and had the same reasons. I realised that, that’s how I was raised my gran is the same and I took that from her. I’ve realised that I like dogs and don’t have “real reasons” for not wanting one. My gran said something which made me realise that I inherited her dislike for dogs. (She had trauma from losing her dog and hated dogs from there)
Long story short I also want a dog now and plan on getting one, 1 day.
PS, Siza a puppy would be the perfect gift to your hubby 😉 if he’s prepared to take care of the dog, get one

Dogs have been part of my life since I was born, my parents loves dogs and we grew up loving them and every dog we've had is like family. I love dogs with everything in me... My husband hates dogs and doesn't want them anywhere near him😢. I tried to convince with no luck 😢😂 but ndihleli ethembeni😂😂😂❤ Loved the sit down! ❤
My husband was like Siza, 😅😅 he blatantly refused and I had to sulk and watch dog videos at night until he saw how much I wanted one. Eventually he gave in and we got a toy pom, fast forward to today… they are best of friends… Mercedez (that’s what we named him), even knows the time hubby gets home, he always waits by the balcony and even knows the car hubby drives. Dogs are precious guys. Siza please reconsider 😂🙏🏾
