I am a tutor and when I want to elicit great dialogue, I just play dumb. It could be good to make her feel a little sorry for you and stop leaning so much. Like atm I have bad allergies but my kids all have exams. So I have an excuse to take more of a backseat and watch what they've got going on without me as a crutch. x
