I was okay with a safe ending. Had a lot of fun with the flash backs and kicking ass at the same time. Hope now that the grimes family is together maybe we can get back to a grainy gritty Rick & Michonne walking dead show. Maybe Rick getting the team back together👀
Feel like him landing in Alexandria or something and had like Gabriel, Aaron, and maybe King Eziekel (or some other side characters that are currently not off and away [example: Negan, Maggie, Darryl, etc]) watch Rick come back and see their reaction to him being back and having a quick moment about everything. Would of been a great ending,
that would have cost a lot tho, AMC is watching them pennies
We were told this is a Love Story. Focus was Rick and Michonne not the CRM. We were told is a limited series of only 6 episodes. We were told Andy and Danai reprised their roles to close out their story. Everything else was wishful thinking for us fans.
That explosion was freakin awesome….great build up with the flag and water…
If the season was 3 episodes longer, focusing on Rick and Michonne dismantling the CRM after returning, it would’ve been a 10/10. 1 episode of them destroying the CRM was way too fast. Loved the episode, but would’ve been better with it spread out 2-3 episodes longer and with higher stakes
The finale went out with a BANG💣💥Soooo good👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
When I saw the rabbit I thought of the first scene of the show with the walker kid grabbing the rabbit off the ground
Rick vs Major General Beale was insane, though you could of had the fight last a while longer
I liked it! We wanted the family reunited and it happened. The rest can unfold as it needs to. We will get what we get in the other shows. ❤
I enjoyed, would love to see rick, daryl, maggie and carol reunite. Also maybe rick and negan coming face to face again. Glad it didnt play too heavily on the CRM side, it was always about Rick getting back home for me, its been a long time coming ❤️
It was great , although it was very rushed. I’m still satisfied with the outcome. I’m not sure why they would keep the fans hanging onto a maybe a season 2. I feel there’s not going to be a season 2. This should be the end. Just my opinion.
I’m satisfied with the ending, meeting up with the kids… could have been a few others there too but we will take it. Also, I believe Andrew Lincoln will appear in the end of The Darryl Dixon show.

I’m just glad that Fonzy cleared the shark ski jump! - Seriously, what a disappointment. I absolutely LOVE this series, but this was so bad. It should’ve been a full season to develop the ending. I feel a bit robbed. I dunno, maybe I need to watch it again. (Walking dead fan forever)
I hope they do season 12 of twd after Darel's return in season 2 of his series
should have been longer and at least made the fight with the CRM a little more harder. Sucks that all the action for "fighting the CRM" was only one episode. I understand that this spin off was primarily focused on Rick and Michonne's relationship. But come on . One explosion and CRM is done? They had an a lot harder time taking down the common wealth and they're like 5% the size of the CRM. Very underwhelming IMO and felt very rushed. Should have allocated all the money for AISLE of the dead towards Rick and Michonnes spin off instead. I'm just highkey really disappointed lol.

Just know before you read my views that I do love The Walking Dead and enjoyed The Ones Who Live... I've been down to Georgia several times, I've talked the towns and filming locations, I've been to Comic-Cons and Monster-Cons and Walker-Cons, I've got several signed Action Figures as well as posters...
But...
As for the last episode, I felt it was rushed... So much drag out and filler in the other episodes and then this one gets rushed... Could have at least been over an hour or something...
And I'm also not entirely happy with the Ending... This is Not a Happily-Ever-After world... No one else has gotten a Happily-Ever-After... But that's what they gave us... After all Kirkman killed Rick in the Comics...
Not too mention we're still left with the hole of what does "PPP" mean??? It was left when Heath went missing and we saw it again on a White Board in the one episode, Thorn was standing next to it...
I guess we'll see where the Dead Universe takes us...

I enjoyed the ending. Pacing was pretty fast but it was probably just to emphasize the whole “those two can do anything” angle. Or maybe that’s just a good excuse lol. Personally I would’ve given the show at least 12 episodes. Overall I think it was pretty decent.
Meh.....It was an extreme opposite of what we are used to seeing in TWD.....There was no struggle and victory was overwhelming and complete. It was weird to see everything go perfectly and according to plan.

I don't why y'all are so obsessed with tyranny. Why you're so obsessed with villainy. Why you need for Rick to keep struggling and lose so much. It was EASY? You think this victory was easy for them. As if the 8 years and emotional and physical turmoil wasn't enough. And Yeah, they are OP. They've been kicking ass and overthrowing wannabe dictators for over a decade. Of course they kicked ass and took out Beale. BEALE was B gathering other B's to take out A's so he could rule the world. Of course he was 'easy' to kill. Gimple Danai and Andy TOLD you. This was about getting Rick Grimes home. It was a love story. The CRM was the prison they needed to break Rick out of. The rest is confetti.
No way you don't find them taking out such an organized military in 5 minutes hard to believe? Also everyone survived huge explosions when they were at the center radius. It was rushed and sloppy. The CRM had so much potential as a future antagonist
It's a TV show. They had explosives and gas. Beale was an old man behind a desk who didn't even work the wall to kill any walkers. They're the protagonists. So no. I didn't find it hard to believe at all.
@HazeyInsanity you don't know that's the end of the tyrannical part of the CRM. Beale may have been concealing other leaders. There are two other spin off shows. This is the end of the CRM for this story. Rick has been through enough. He's home now. He did what he was supposed to do.
Thank you! Gen. Beale has been behind walls ordering around B’s. He hasn't had boots on the ground facing personal threats for years on end, so of course he swiftly got his arse kicked by Rick. Almost anybody from the Alexandria group could, IMO.
Gen. Beale was just one of many antagonists. However, antagonists don't have to be some crazy hard to defeat villain, that’s just one type. All they have to do is create opposition. We seen how quickly Thorne became one just by listening to that wack echelon brief.
Additionally having all of their top CRM leaders at the summit in one location was a huge failure in Force Protection.
@@DiaryofaBasicBW I'm not talking about rick being able to kill beale on a one on one I'm talking about them being able to set up a bomb that easiely when there is an army of 200k . There was just so much plot armor during this episode, everyone died in that explosion except for the 2 main characters and then rick pulls a grenade which kills all the walkers but not him. Even if it is a tv show, it has to be somewhat believeable otherwise it's bad writting

Rick couldn't make it out for years ....but how easy they took everything one and all down too easy.. without any problems

Like you I thought this ep was pretty meh. Definitely felt way too rushed to be satisfying.

Ending was very poorly written and cheesy. Rick has had no rapport with those kids. That shit was fan fiction. The actors won’t want to be in the show as long as they’re dragging things out.
Im glad to see Rick kill Locke from Lost, easily the most annoying character in TV history... 🎉❤😊
This series SUCKED. So much potential, the writers had a great foundation. They definitely reunited Rick and Michione way too easy. I would have loved to see lone wolf michone again in ep 2 a full episode dedicated to her surviving while trying to find Rick and they could have introduced the variant zombie, when Rick and her found each other and they went back to the CRM, they could have gave us a emotional moment with Rick and Carl as an angel that makes Rick change his mind to escape and everything that happened in the last episode should have happened then.. Jadis could have went after them for revenge on taking down the CRM and she could have been the one to cut ricks hand off .. there was no real risk in this series, no intensity, everything happened to fast and two easy .. it really feels like a romance instead of an action series and I would love to see them make the zombies a threat again
Came to fast?? This bloody TWD story went on for a damn decade. Yeah finally some positivity here where the heroes get their dreams fulfilled. Then main series drag and drag with no good happening - the happy ending continually being pushed ahead. Finally a happy ending to all the BS. Let it and them rest Jesus Christ in a Mall
