Saga was my first live concert I attended in PR back when I was a teenager. That was a long time ago =). From that day on I officially became a rocker. Saga has an original sound and style. For me, it's one of the best rock groups of all time.

Unbelievable concert. Happy for all who managed to watch them live! They picked less known songs through which one can really appreciate their majestic artististry and fuller range. Is true caviar to listen to them. Props to camera man who posted it.

It is somewhat embarrassing that Canada never seem to appreciate Saga, and they had to go abroad to get the appreciation they deserve...they are such a great band ..
Saga is actually more appreciated in PR than Rush. We love them as if they were a local band.

well, life sucks in many different ways, it was them kaynaydiens' big loss🙄
As a Canadian boy at twelve years of age growing up in a remote community, I fell in love with their music. It has been many years since those days. I did however manage to see them perform live in Toronto five times over the years and just recently on September 2022. There are many SAGA fans in Canada but it is true they found greater audiences elsewhere. If you really look at the numbers, any great musical act from Canada found greater success elsewhere. Brian Adams, Celine Dione, Justin Beiber, RUSH, Neil Young, Avril Levine, Arcade Fire, The Weeknd, Alanis Morisette... and the list goes on. It comes down to demographics and the sheer geography of Canada. It is not that we don't love and appreciate these artists but elsewhere denser population centers can garner more intense appreciation in a live venue show with attendance. The best of it all, is that SAGA understands this and they continue to perform live here in front of small crowds when they tour. By the way, did I tell you SAGA is one of my favourite bands of all time? Just a little boy in a one horse town in Cape Breton Island. I listened to all of their records to the point of absolute memorization. As a SAGA fan from Canada, I feel zero embarrassment.
I saw Saga in Germany in 1981 opening for ZZ Top. Up close and personal. Great show. Took some great pictures. Rock on!
I got to watch Saga in two different shows the same day! The first in the Centro de Bellas Artes, then right after that in Hard Rock Cafe San Juan.
I think Saga is going to keep on going for a while. They have your dates set until 2022, hopefully they’ll set more. It’s definitely a dream of mine to see them live; the closest I’ll be able to get is Canada…or if they ever tour in the U.S. Hopefully Canada won’t require the vaccines for long. Love these guys!!

We were there!!! Came all the way from Tampa, FL for our first, hopefully not last, show! Best part was running into them the next night at a local beach bar and sharing stories over some cold drinks! love, Love, LOVE the people of Puerto Rico!!

Llegué a SAGA hace poco por recomendacion de mi hijo y estoy maravillada por su calidad, talento y entrega por tantos anhos. A mi edad es como regresar a una etapa de mi vida en Alemania de los anos 80`s que revivo con Saga sin haberles conocido. Espero de verlos en vivo en Puerto Rico en 2023. Mientras tanto les sigo en sus viajes por Europa en facebook y canto con ellos muchas de sus canciones.. Gracias de nuevo por este esfuerzo grande de filmar el concierto. Long live SAGA.

I've just watched your film on DVD (hope that's ok) with HD headphones...I can honestly say this was one of the best concert one-cams I've ever seen!!..And I've seen hundreds....You filmed the entire show and in HD quality and the SOUND is truely awesome..Yeah there is is a ton of vids from this show here on YT and they are all most welcome..SAGA's last show,for now..but THIS one is as near to being there for this legendary show as you will get..THANK YOU for sharing an AWESOME vid!!!!!!!!

I knew Saga when I was in swedenrock 2014. Never heard one song of them.
I was so surprised by the live music quality that I can't believe that a band could achieve that level of quality. It's for sure that I think it's the best live band.

This is an elaborate setup. Many higher earning, more contemporary, acts can't afford a setup like this. It's fantastic. One of my favorite groups. Love this.

Me atrevería decir que fue su mejor concierto en la isla (P.R). La lista de canciones fue perfecta. Sonaron muchas canciones no comerciales que definen su calidad musical...Siempre quise escuchar Cat Walk y Slow Motion en vivo, dos grandes canciones. Un detalle que contribuyó a que este concierto tuviera un sonido sólido fue el Baterista. Después de Steve Negus, Mike throne ha sido el mejor Baterista que han tenido.
Después de esas palabras queda todo dicho...sostenemos el mismo argumento! Eso fue una noche mágica

Actually, I am pretty sure they're on the bill for the Cruise to the Edge that just launched a week or so ago. I don't know why they'd stop, they sound amazing. Michael's voice is unreal. He hasn't lost a step. Cheers!
Frank Black Yes you’re right. I’ve heard the same. They themselves hinted during the show that this might not be their “last” last time. Michael Sadler himself posted a poll in his Facebook page regarding interest on a limited USA tour, so I’m certain they will be around for a while longer to regale us with their one of a kind sound.
And yes, Michael’s pipes have aged like a fine wine, he is just incredible and you can clearly tell they all love their craft. Wherever they go, I’ll always make an effort to be there. Thank you for watching the video!
@@GuaretoLoco Seeing a video of them performing on the Cruise to the Edge reignited my interest in Saga and I've been binging on a lot of their music I've never heard before, specifically the "10,000 Days" album. So many great songs. I hope they stick around a bit longer. We need all the great Prog we can get.
Frank Black I fully agree with you. I know touring is hard work and they have been doing for so long, but I just can’t see them hanging the gloves just yet. You can clearly see how much they enjoy doing what they do! And yes we need good prog rock and there is not that much of it around and definitely none that resembles Saga’s unique style.

I'm a big fan of Steve Negus, but I thought Steve Negus can't replace anyone. I'm very happy with Mike Thorne, and I couldn't do anything with the drummers in front of Mike. Mike is a worthy opponent of Steve. He plays the music as you can hear it on the CD, I think that's very important, you should keep the style and not experiment around. Just as far as the old songs are concerned, it is better to play them again in the original.
SAGA will play the live tour for a while, so not completely break up imo...

Muchas gracias por el concierto, exelente calidad de video, solo que el sonido agudo debido al fuerte volumen del los bajos se atenua y no permite apreciar bien las guitarras y los sintetizadores. Creo que el sonidista creyo que era un concierto de reggaeton y subio los bajos demaciado.

No, sorry, there’s not. This was the effort of one hard core fan and his hours-old iPhone XS. You could download it using one of various download tools available and create a dvd but you’d have nowhere near this resolution. Blu-Ray would be a much better option. Cheers!

ehuman66 he was not feeling well and had to take a break from the tour. The guest bassist did an awesome job anyway!
JIM CRICHTON had Dusty Chesterfield take his spot for the last 2 shows..
Maybe recharging means, that there is still hope for Jim's comeback. Anyway Dusty deserves to be appreciated as a present band mate.

Egal wie lang die Konzerte sind, Saga schafft es immer wieder die Setlist langweilig zu gestalten…bin momentan wieder im „Heads or Tales“ & „Wildest Dreams“ Fieber 🔥 aber die spielen immer 85% nervigen Artrock …wenn man „The Vendetta“ „ The writing“ „Don’t put out the fire“ oder „chase the wind“ ( um nur Einige zu nennen) weglässt, kann das nix mehr werden 😢
