Kin was sooo cute back in the day! I felt so bad for him when L & L ran away. They were very exciting together, but kin not only was more handsome and closer to Laura in age, they were married, for heaven's sake! Even TG didn't expect to become a romantic hero! He was hired for just 13 wks. as a shady character who's obsession with Laura ked to rape! Tony said he never liked that part of the storyline, and Genie concurred. Turning it into true love and the most watched daytime wedding in history was so bizarre yet beautiful. Gloria Monty truly worked magic to get L & L together!
Luke should have left Port Charles after David Grey Storyline to pursue adventure. Then laura could have come back and wound up with scotty. He would have accepted raising another man's kid.
I recently saw an interview with her and she said this actor was her first boyfriend from playing a couple on the show. When he first left the show and broke up with her, it left her so alone that she started to do drugs and she was miserable. I could imagine how it must've felt to him for the fans to prefer a character who raped her character being a couple, over his character and hers when they were really dating.
I like her with both Kevin and Scotty. Both men match with her better than Luke. But, for old times sake, I'll give Scotty his due. Poor guy got so shafted back in the '80's
Waay back in the late 70' s, Scotty really was a nice guy. I remember those times well. He became very bitter, understandingly, when Laura ran away with Luke. He became a bad guy, but the change happened because of the loss of his wife.
He always acted more like her daddy than her husband. He was nice enough- but very boring, and treated her like a kid. Luke treated her like a woman, challenged her, and like an equal.
@@katydalton4759 Exactly! Scotty was with Laura she was only 17 or 18 years old and still had a lot of growing up to do. Yes Scotty wanted to marry her but Rick and Lesley were just as at fault letting them get married when it was obvious Laura was not mature enough to handle it. In a nutshell Rick and Lesley allowed it because Laura's high maintenance ways was hurting their marriage. At the time he was the town golden boy who's dream was to be a lawyer and work along side his dad. Sadly though he became the husband and the parent and sadly it blew up in his face and with that the life he had planned for himself and Laura. By 81 when he returned the town turned on him because they were written to reflect how the audience felt towards Luke that he could do no wrong. From Scotty's point of view Luke destroyed his life and he in a way he was right. Luke wanted Scotty's life back then including Laura. He also wanted respect and was very ambitious as well. However with Scotty's return we saw a new side we never seen. His dark side and that is what has made him such a complex character ever since. I love his sweetness with Laura and I love his zany ways with Lucy and that is all thanks to Kin Shriner's direction of the character.
Scott looks good here. His sense of humor is natural.
I love Kin. I think he is a fabulous actor. I liked Scotty and Laura better together than Luke and Laura.

I wish that Laura could be reunited with Scotty.

I think Kin Shriner is a talented actor with a wide range of emotions. He always was a talented actor.

Who does laura belong with? Scott , Stefan , Kevin or Luke
Luke. :)
Her number one will always be William T Riker.
I vote Scotty.

Luke: forever. Even if TG was an idiot for changing it, 😊.
Boring!!! That kiss had NO chemistry!
Sorry, the kisses between Scott and Laura never look real .... I don’t believe them!
They ought to look real since Kin and Genie were once a couple.
MsChemicalEngineer
Even when they played a married couple and were dating in real life it never felt like they had chemistry.
They were a couple in real life for a short spell.
The more I see of Scotty the more I hate him! Was he ever sweet and nice, not controlling with Laura? Like before 78...
ShatteredRoses11 Scotty is a humongously complicated character. I'm confused on wether or not I should like him
