- Today we head out on our journey to Florida. After getting Goliath loaded and prep for the trip, we are hitting the highway with Wildwood Florida as our destination this coming weekend the 75 chrome shop will be hosting their big rig truck show as they do every year.
About 10 miles down the road the town of Leesburg will be hosting their annual bike fest as well. We are heading down early to get a good parking spot so we can get great footage of both events throughout the week.

1. Try star washers between the mirror and the mount. They dig into the mount and mirror to hold things in place. Worked when I'd replace the factory mirrors on my company-owned truck with some large spot mirrors.
2. Goliath sure could use a wheel polish job.😊
I usually polish them in the spring when going to Daytona, and we did not this year for some reason

I was at Leesburg bikefest a few years ago, and 75 Chrome actually organized a parade of big rigs on the street south of Main. Lasted about an hour it was awesome!!!
Yes, they used to do the parade every year, but I think after Covid they stopped doing it

I had thought about that Edward, but we actually got the parking spot that we wanted over here at the truckstop so I didn’t want to take the chance and going over there to get it rewashed and losing the spot.

I used love Wildwood when i drove 18 wheeler for living was a interesting place to camp out i meet a few wheel polisher s there thy always asked which color polish you like he said i got green or white or yellow whichever you want lol these gyes had you covered thy shine up your rims you could get a fair trade there for sure i like wildwood back in day i hauled chicken into Tampa and back over to Orlando areas this was one of my favorite stops

Hi Adam, what kind of license is required to drive Goliath? Nice trip.
That can vary from state to state. As an RV most states do not require you to have any special license, but some of them do when you’re pulling combinations like I do. And North Carolina, they do require a combination vehicle license if it’s over 26,000 pounds. Not necessarily a CDL, just a specific RV combination license. I have a CDL so that supersedes all other licenses.

It’s funny you say that, I filmed a video a year and a half ago about how I shift Goliath, and I never finished editing it or produced it. And on the drive down here I was thinking I probably need to redo all that.

@@amsoiladam ... i also make sure im never in hurry to get to the bottom... haha. Ive cooked my brakes 2 times in mtns. Brake fade is a scary feeling. U step on pedal and like theres nothing there. So now im super cautious. I knew better then just wasnt paying attention. Haulin ass too fast down mtns.then try slow that momentum

Happy Birthday to Adam and Talon! Quick question for you, what editing software do you use? Starting my own UA-cam channel and I seem to have lesser quality once uploaded. Thanks in advance. Continued safe travels.
I typically filmed with my iPhone and then edit and iMovie right on the phone. For the daily Vlogs, that is the simplest way for me. When I do the ride videos, I will use the 360 camera and then edit with its own software on my iPad and then transfer it into iMovie to do the final touches. For videos that require more production value such as using multiple cameras, I use Final Cut Pro on my MacBook Pro.

I swear people have become bat sh_t crazy on the roads. As bikers you know what I mean. Since your truck is technically an RV do you need a CDL to drive. Today is Wednesday Happy Birthday Adam!
The laws on that very from state to state. Nationally I am not required to have any special license to drive it but because I hold a North Carolina drivers license, North Carolina, requires me to have at least an RV combination vehicle license. However, I do have a CDL and my CDL supersedes the required license so I’m legal everywhere.
