Rock Friends: Rocky You Need Any Help..
Rocky: This Ain't No Pie Eating Contest... LOL 😄
“You’re coming down here with these people asking me if I wanna throw hand with you? Is that what this is about?”
For some reason, I often find myself replaying that line in my head
Rocky helped make him, he can destroy him too.
Most underrated movie I swear… Absolutely love it, very emotional movie. Still fighting, just not in the ring.
I agree one hundred percent
I most definitely agree and this movie is my 3rd favorite of the series.👍
LOL The look on Rockys face after he saw paulie get knocked down lol its priceless
Oh yea, the man was perfectly willing to sit down and talk to his misguided pupil but the min that happened he became a threat to his family and someone that needed to be put down
Yes didn't like tommy rip Tommy morrison
Paulie hit him first
@@johnjacobo that's because rocky put him ahead of his family then he decided to betray him I completely understand Paulie
"Hey you knocked him down , why don't you try knocking me down now ?" 😊
(Rocky's voice) "Now you knocked him down, why don't you try knocking me down now."
(George Washington Duke's voice) " No, no. In the ring, in the ring. Tommy Gunn only fights in the ring. Let's get outta here."
(Rocky's voice) "My ring's outside."
(Tommy's voice) "Yeah? Let's do it!"
Genius move on Rocky’s part. Not only by fighting outside would Duke not make any money but rocky can use moves not allowed in the ring to minimize the risk of brain injury and he knew tommy would accept blinded by anger and desire to prove. A point.
Coldest rocky quotes 💯
“My Rings Outside”
(coldest line EVER)
Funny how hypocritical Tommy is about Rocky is only doing it for the money but complains when he isn't getting the title shot with Rocky 😂
Personally, I certainly understand why Sylvester Stallone stated in various TV talk show interviews on why he DID NOT like the way "Rocky V" turned out in the end. It even proves why Stallone made "Rocky VI" or "Rocky Balboa" to remedy the failed plot of the previous film anyway.
Rocky V still had it's good moments, like the Mickey training flashback in the old gym, or this moment here when Rocky is challenged.
@@tech-bore8839I won't watch any of the creed knock offs
i watch Rocky 1 through 5 the 6th one lags i can't watch it @@RS-xq6je
0:24 IF YOU LISTEN REALLY CLOSELY,YOU CAN HEAR SOMEONE SAY, AIN'T THAT THE DUKE?!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In a super philly kind of way too lol
When Rocky's neck tightens up when they're calling him from outside is very underrated. I've done that before many times. It's basically saying "this won't go away until I handle it"
Paulie was a G! He swung on Rocky in Rocky 3 then he ready to take on Tommy Gunn! R.I.P Burt Young
Wow a Rocky V clip. I thought I'd never see the day!
No guys, ain’t no pie eatin’ contest😂
'Hey, Angie, them flippers ain't flipping'... 😂😂
Rip Paulie
Rip Tommy gunn
Rocky Balboa there's a man out here wishing to Speak with you! ROCKY BALBOA‼😂
Rest in peace Tommy Morrison boxing legends never die
Burt Youngs acting was great in this scene.
Rocky is the best sports movie ever made 🎉🎉🎉
RIP Tommy and paulie
I was wondering where I first heard the line "This ain't no pie-eatin' contest...", a long time ago.
I first found it, here & thought it was referenced in a song, or, something like that, but, I literally don't remember.
Rocky V and Rocky Balboa are not being included in the 4K Blu Ray release next month which is wrong to break up the set of all 6 movies...major fail on Warner Bros.
I really Hope They put v and the last movie in 4k it's not set with just 4 movies
None of his business??? Rocky is his family!!!
How they do me no competition i stay to myself
Recuerdo ese momento, la pelea callejera, totalmente acorde a lo que se presentó, me fascinó, que el recuerdo de micky, fuera su motivación para levantarse y partírsela al tommy.
How come there looked to be a white spot on the screen around 2:33-2:38?...
You'll see it around Pauline's chest, but, it's so quick, you'd have to watch it in slow-motion, or, something like that.
Defect in the tape
Give Tommy his due, great boxer and decent actor to boot 👌🏻
My rings outside 😮
go live! go live! lol
I'm all fairness, Paulie did provoke Tommy by pushing.
Paulie didn’t say anything that wasn’t true
@@joewhitehead3 Not sure what that's supposed to mean. Telling the truth can and will get you in trouble :)
@@asdadfafafafffallslsldd8068 It means what you just said. He was telling the truth
Paulie didn’t tell Tommy to walk into the bar to provoke rocky into fighting and persisting even after Rocky said no.
You know this was a movie and not a documentary
LOL 🥊🥊👊👊👍
That could of been a big money fight
2:24🥊🦷😮😯😲🤯
Everything Rocky did for him and this guy just kicks him to the curb
1:47 - If you look closely, you can see that Tommy is thinking hard about what Rocky's telling him. Rocky is telling him the hard truth about Duke using Tommy to get Rocky in the ring.
He knows Rocky is right but it’s too late to turn back now.
People hate on this one but at least it's in the neighborhood and not in some mansion or in Russia.

This is a perfect example of how money can change people. Rocky took Tommy under his wing and look what he got in return ? Tommy turned on him for the money and fame but Tommy was not like Rocky. Rocky never changed who he was. That's how life is.
It wasn’t just about the money. Tommy was pretty much practically brainwashed by Duke because of his obvious pride throughout the whole movie. He kept talking about earning the championship title hastily but acted like Rocky was holding him back from it the whole time since Rocky was supposed to be his “manager”.
@@masterjustin2246 Rocky went through the same thing but Rocky just had that character about him like in Rocky 2 he lost but he didn't care while apollo was the one who wanted to fight him again and that's when Rocky beat him so my point is even when he lost Rocky never changed where Tommy all he wanted was to be on top but Rocky never cared he just wanted to take care of his family Duke did brainwash him I'll admit but Tommy should have listened to Rocky when Tommy stop by his house talking about how Duke was his new manager and Rocky was trying to warn Tommy about the business of boxing
@@masterjustin2246 when Tommy got the title look what happened people turned on him and why because people knew the business and people loved Rocky because Rocky was not a fake champion and remember Tommy beat a nobody to win a fake title that Rocky never even lost
What did that fake don king say to tommy right after he punched burt young?
“Break your hand on this bum and then what are you worth?”
2:03 I think Tommy saying he would've taken him any time was the end of it. Tommy challenged him face to face, and Rocky backed down in front of his peers and a live camera crew. This made Tommy look strong and Rocky look weak, thus nothing more needed to happen. But then Paulie (who btw was involved in the Rocky/Tommy story from the beginning) spoke up...
This was an underrated movie: it would have been even better if Rocky had trained an actor playing his son(at 22)* to beat an undefeated Gunn after losing this fight after getting hit just right by Tommy after being cheated(as we saw) This fight should have ended here. His son's career path changes from intellectual to boxing after Gunn cheats his dad to beat him(already having the boxing rudiments after beating that bully earlier). Plus, unbeknownst to Gunn, what began as a rivalry for his dad's affection/attention builds to Lang-Rocky fury level once Gunn cheated his dad. It would have been more realistic. And, since Tunney was an intellectual, he could have become a modern Tunney(maybe a Holmes or Young Holyfield). It all works out from a Rocky schematic standpoint...
*His real life son still gets to play the younger parts.

I hate so much this movie
For alot of reasons
I blame tommy Gunn
