There are many types of outstanding clutch designs in the app. Most automotive clutches are a single plate dry clutch with two friction surfaces. No matter the application, the function and purpose of a clutch is to transmit torque from a rotary drive motor to a transmission.
Clutches require an actuation mode to interrupt torque transmission. The clutch pedal is a leverage method to disengage the transmission from the engine to the transmission from inside the vehicle. The pedal translates a parabolic swing of the clutch pedal into a linear motion. This linear motion is then converted into thrust bearing motion by displacement of any mechanical linkage, cable or hydraulic fluid.
The clutch has several components that are essential for its operation:
The steering wheel has 3 main functions. The first is to maintain a rotating mass (inertia) to assist engine rotation and provide more consistent torque delivery during operation. The second is to provide a sprocket for the starter to engage. The third is to provide one of the drive friction surfaces for the friction disk.
The Driven Friction Disc is connected to the transmission input shaft through a groove. The disc drives the input shaft in the transmission which translates the movement to the wheels. The disc has a sacrificial friction material that allows the clutch to be modulated to control traction at start-up. The disc also contains a spring hub that absorbs engine vibration when the clutch is engaged and also absorbs torque when engaging and disengaging traction.
The pressure plate is the most critical part of the entire clutch assembly. The pressure plate applies a clamping force (pressure) that keeps the friction disk engaged between it and the flywheel. The pressure plate is attached to the flywheel with screws and they rotate together. The pressure plate contains a diaphragm or springs that apply pressure to the main casting or driving surface. To release or disengage the drive, the diaphragm or clutch levers are actuated, which allows the main casting to lift off the driven disc.

excelente video
Excelente uso deste componente!!
Sim, ela é movida a gasolina :,(
