He'll never rejoin the tour, because he'd have to pay his fines then, and it's probably more money than he has, unless some wealthy backer paid it for him. It's unlikely that he'd make more money on the tour than the fines so it would be very risky.

Stephen lee should have maybe won multiple wprld championships before fixing matches. Higgins still was the better player and no one is stopping a cash cow. Missing balls on every occasion you cone to the table especially as a Professional is a sign of being at it. Jan Jones...... Bingham, Mark king and the Asian fellas from last year all were caught fixing. Speaking about being approached to fix a match isn't the same as actually trying your best to not win. Stephen Lee actually used to look decent and then he'd do his beat to miss a simple shot. That happens more than on a blue moon? Your ass is toast. Pressure is only attributable to the odd miss. Not missing every fucking ball in sight. Higgins has had the better career as well. People hate on him cause he is Scottish. It was the exact same with Hendry. People ated him for how he used to always skelp Jimmy white about on the table and being Scottish. No matter though. Imagine fixing a match anyway. 6 month bans for gixing 1 match and decade bans for people doing over a f8ve match period. That way it nips this k8nd of antics in the bud.

A six month ban and a £75000 fine is "bugger all"? Are you high?

      Good point
But a a 6-month ban and 75 grand fine arr nothing compared to the 12 year sentence that Lee got.
      Lee was the sacrificial lamb.
Higgins was too important for the sport for the snooker authorities to sacrifice him in the manner that they did with Lee.

      @@Teeb2023 Yes.
Higgins was essentially disciplined for a technically MILDER form of what Lee did.
One got 6 months and the other got 12 years.
