    Very nice work on the Mig29 I love to see special schemes, that large decal looks like a challenge. Great end result.

    i still use the brushes, i know that the air brush help you to give a looks more realistic to the model but i will use forever the brush.

    Looks great! I'm building it right now and just seeing how other modelers paint the color scheme and build. A tip that I have seen a lot for the panel lines is clear coating with spray paint(gloss clear). Then adding diluted black oil paint as a wash then clear coating flat. it might not make sense at first but if you look up "model oil wash" on YT you'll be golden. just what ever you question is go on youtube and look up "how to" and you'll probably find some tips. I haven't tried the oil wash yet. I'm going to on this current model and see how it goes. Good luck!

    I think thin propelling - pencil is ok for panel lines on grey aircraft .

    This MIG is used to this days by "23 Baza Lotnictwa Taktycznego" (23 Tactical Air Base) in Mińsk mazowiecki in Poland - I live 5km from that Base :) The pilot in 2016 who flying on it on Air show its Cpt, Adrian Rojek (past 2017 is retired, his hours on MIG is 1666 hours)- Best of the best, his teacher on MIG29 was Lut. Robert "Ivan" Kozak (died in 2012 in road accident), also very agressive and talented pilot :D Thanks for that build ;)

      @@Starfishscalemodeling No problem :) About this MIG - his serial number is 2960535105, to Poland he comes in 30 (other source tell 2nd) 10, 1990, It start serve in 1BLt (1 Baza Lotnictwa Taktycznego - eng. 1st Tactical Air base) in Mińsk mazowiecki in Poland. From 1.01. 2001 to 27.09. 2002 it serve in 1Elt (1st tactical air squadron, new name of 1Blt) from 27,09,2002 - 0,4,02,2005 plane was in WZL-2 ("Wojskowe zakłady lotnicze-2, eng -Army aircraft company #2) for first general renovation. From 04.02.2005 - 30.06.2010 it serve in 1Elt. Then 01.07.2010 - 00.00.2010 it starts to serve in 23Blot (new name of 1Elt), 00.00.2010 - 05.12.2011 - the second general renovation in WZL-2. 05.12.2011 - PRESENT is still in 23Blot in Mińsk mazowiecki. This is how look the history of this actual MIG29 with tactical number 105.

      @@Starfishscalemodeling the interresting fact is, that in 1997 this plane was tested in NEGEV desert in Israel. And on right side, under pilot cabin, is Logo for memory of French pilots who first time visit Poland in 1994 with french mirage 2000 :)

      @@Starfishscalemodeling This portrait on tail wings - its Merian Cooper - founder of "Brygada Kościuszkowska" (eng. Kosciuszko brigade) This red/white logo on top of wing its logo of this brigade :) Kościuszko it's also a lot of history - history of Poland and history of USA :)

    Great job on cockpit - well done! But the surface of model was nearly destroyed by fat layer of paint and brush techniq: the easiest way to paint such big surfaces is ordinary spray (can) with proper colour paint inside. It's much more easier also much more fast method. Cheers.

    I would suggest you to buy an airbrush, it will make life more easy for you & the model finish will be superb, first go for a single action airbrush then a double action as you progress.

    I have Question but the Polish MIG 29 don, t take the R27 missiles?

    Nice model! I also bought a MIG-29 model from Mistercraft and and F16 from ITALERI I 'll begin to build them .

      Mistercraft generally sucks, I would begin with the Italeri kit! I also have 3 MiG-29 from Trumpeter and Zvezda that I might build soon.

      @@Starfishscalemodeling Why the decals from Italeri are sticky and can be moved on model dificult ? I have a F16 kit to buid from Italeri and I heard you distroyed some decals cause they are sticky.

      I tend to look for bargains when it comes to buying kits and have always found Italeri to be good value for money. I think I will look out a MiG 29 to build soon after watching your video. I'm recovering from a motorcycle accident just now and one of my injuries is a broken hand. As soon as it's healed I will get on with some models as I'm missing them a lot ha ha! I'll subscribe to your channel and watch your builds with interest :-)

    A nice MiG-29 indeed. If you ask for suggestions, I would try to improve paint texture at this point, but as a whole the model is really nice. BTW., where was the air show you saw the MiG?

    Looks nice as always for panel lines i could say the use the liner before the last coat of paint

      Yes I thought about that too while editing the video, the problem is that I can't remove the liner if I miss the panel and draw outside of it...

      ★ Starfish ★ Yes there are washes for modelling or you can do it yourself too use white spirit and oil paints and mix them until its like coffe then after gloss varnish do it over the panel lines and Clean with a paper towel dipped in white spirit after waiting 10 minutes

    Beautiful model and is yet not finished.. Very good choice of yours as Revell is no longer a good one. Trumpeter, very expensive but maybe, with the highest quality as well as Hasegawa. Congratulations!
