After their argument, Marlon appeared on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast and proved and got over 1 Million views in an hour, embarrassing Vlad and proving him wrong!

Honestly, Vlad was right…for him to speak the business out loud, Vlad was wrong…but Marlon numbers wasn’t up…but that interaction got his numbers to sky rocket and Shay Shay seen the opportunity and capitalized on it…

@@your_favorite_painter Marlon is actually really popular before Vlad wanted to do an interview with him. His tours do really well. He's appeared in the comedy club in our local mall and it was always sold out.
There was even a fight that broke out when a couple just cut the line and got the last tickets. Marlon has a bigger impact in the industry than Vlad does. Also Vlad is a terrible interviewer. Vlad's interviews are just him drama farming and this spat with Marlon is proof. Give Shannon Vlad's guests (or anyone with media training) he easily clears him.

@@your_favorite_painter but it's flawed thought process as it doesn't tell the whole story. Interviews don't determine one's popularity at all. Vlad EXCLUSIVELY does interviews while Marlon runs so many other endeavors with his family. Marlon still gets hundreds of thousands of views.
For Example, Club Shay Shay is fairly new to the podcast game and has 3.45M followers and growing. CSS has been around for less than 3 years. Vlad's been around way longer than Shannon (almost 15 years) and he's at 5.91M followers and it doesn't seem like that number is getting higher anytime soon. Shannon is going to eclipse Vlad's numbers in about a year. By Vlad's logic he wasn't even close to Shannon Sharpe and was irrelevant.
No one was talking about Katt Williams until his Club Shay Shay interview and Katt has actually appeared on Vlad's channel. Marlon was still doing multiple interviews at the time.
In fact, he had Katt on his channel and the highest he only got 926K views from one his KW clips. Shannon on the other hand, the lowest viewed clip of Katt is sitting on 5M. Shannon got those numbers WHILE Katt is in his decline and Vlad couldn't pull those numbers in the peak of Katt's career. Marlon is popular, but Vlad wasn't going to do good with him because he's a terrible interviewer. Marlon still gets triple digit numbers, but Shannon has media training and is entertaining. Vlad's wrong because Marlon was still doing interviews and pulling numbers.
It would be one thing if Marlon was getting like 10K views from a 2 hour interview, but he's still putting up 200K+ numbers. I used to watch Vlad, but his channel just feels like the same thing on repeat. He has to do drama farming to get his numbers. This time it bit him back. Vlad's the last person who should talk about numbers.
