Great video mate, waiting for Monday , cheers
Hello Kimbo!! Yeah I cant wait to get that steel up!! Although my back might not agree after Monday lol :)
Will the roof noggings you’ve put in not stop airflow from from to back ?
Expert nailing boards under edpm should be screws
Great Vid again Steve. Gloves and dust mask when grinding/cutting steel for personal safety. Also high winds forecast, does the front of the roof have any fixings yet! ? Have a good weekend. Btw did you try the pir saw yet?
Watcha Gary!! Yes agree mate and completely forgot the gloves and mask. Was to busy trying to figure out who was talking to me! lol And the front has some temp 250mm screws in it to keep it together till I get back Monday morning :) And yeah that saw was brilliant! Cant wait to try it on the 100mm PIR!!
Hilarious about your phone lol, Great vid & looking forward to Sunday already....Engage!!
Hello Lee!! yeah that confused me a lot at the time!! And I will be in Sunday, but only if I hear back from the client to say its ok! And good to know there are a few next gen fans following my channel! I cant wait for Picard season 2!! :)
@@TheHomeRenovationExperts Data was always my fav....Bring on season 2 :)
@@leeaw9699 same here! Plus Q being back will be bloody brilliant!
Did you use the saw?
Why do you only use 50 mm insulation in the walls, would it not be better if you used 100 mm ?
Watcha again Kimbo!! You only need 50mm in your walls as its the base and roof you loose most of your heat from. You can stick in 100 if you fancied it but will just make life a bit tougher later on getting your sockets etc in :)
@@TheHomeRenovationExperts thanks for the info👍
Don't retrofit polystyrene as external wall insulation & don't use spray foam or Polyurethane (PIR) as insulation internally, they are not fire resistant, use rockwool it is fire resistant.
Remember grenfell & what happened to it, don't cheapskate on the insulation it could kill you!
Do a search for "Testing The Burn Ability Of Insulation In Wall" on Post 10 channel, it is eye opening.
