*The release title cut ("Imprints") kicks off with djimboh's (signature) deep, yet driving groove. Indeed, the tension between the energetic rhythm and delicate, crystalline melodic themes proves intoxicating from the song's earliest moments. As the song approaches the main breakdown, the arrangement continues to crescendo, as layer upon layer of mellifluous and poignant synth lines imbue the soundscape. Suddenly, the beats drop out, leaving the song's main bell-tinged melody to stand out on it own. An array of celestial pads, a heavenly female vocal accent, and series of fluttering side melodies also arrive later in the breakdown; ultimately, the levee breaks, unleashing the powerful groove one last time in the drop section to triumphant effect.*

djimboh may not have been releasing tracks for as long as other, more established Silk Music artists, however that doesn't mean that the quality of his output is any less than Silk's finest. I first heard Empire and thought to myself that this was an artist who would definitely make his mark on EDM. Fortunately, I wasn't wrong and Imprints (as a Title Track and EP) live up to already high expectations. Deep, a little dark and still full of life, Imprints is a fabulous tune delivering 6 minutes of pleasure. Nice one djimboh! Thanks as always to all at Silk Music for their love of the best music in the world. All Lives Matter and Much Love World ❤❤❤
