- I am a mobile players in genshin impact since the release of this game. And I gotta say we mobile players struggle alot in genshin. PC genshin players can't relate to this video.
This video is what I have experienced in the past while playing genshin. As time goes by, more and more mobile players will quit genshin because of full storage, more and more people will change to play genshin impact on pc, but the legacy of mobile genshin players shall not be forgotten!

I remember doing the first one on PS4 and wondering how players without certain characters like Kazuha or Venti were expected to make it in time; meanwhile the PC port is like: just walk across 4head.
Go straight to the last one and just glide down.
even with pc i kept falling until i just gave up and decided to approach the challenge a different way lol

When doing those rope things or walking over a small plank like that, use a bow character and use aim and then move over the rope, then you won't fall until you come out of aim mode or shoot the arrow.
This is very useful for phone users

Literally 💀 I was farming domains for Xiao artifacts earlier but somehow the mobs go further and further the more I plunge with xiao 💀 not like Xiao's knockback but the fact that whenever you plunge it feels like you use a dash further from the npcs 💀

As a former Xiao main who plays on mobile, this is relatable. Eventually figured out a workaround (stay still as possible during combat and once you jump plunge asap) but it was quite irritating while I was still working it out.
As someone that never played on pc or laptop, muscle memory never fails me in almost any control on mobile, especially the first one, can literally sprint on it if you get used to control and sensitivity enough 🎉 for me the most annoying part isn’t even on catching crystalflies (not in video yes but just saying, usually one of the common struggles on mobile), is when you accidentally use your burst because of your fingers tapping too far… 😅 all I can say that with enough practice, anyone can get the hang of it, orrrrr you can just blame it on your phone cuz it ain’t your fault unless it’s a skill issue T^T
Mobile is a little more difficult, but once you get used to it, it can have advantages
What always gets me on mobile is switching characters. When changing from character to character the order changes. This usually makes me swap to the wrong character that I was intending.
That's probably the reason why I leave main boss battles to PC

When I want to jump and then do a plunge attack I have a 1/3 chance of NOT touching anything... either I'm too far or I just land like an idiot without doing the attack because my finger did not touch the atk button on the screen :')

1:04 If you press the character's ability on the cell phone, it will obviously appear with the ability

Tip for the second one
If you hold the left alt button while you swtch characters, the character you switch to will automatically use their burst if they have it.
I can 100% relate to this entire video, as a mobile user and Xiao main I sometimes end up gliding while I’m using his burst.

If anyone has trouble going across the tightropes in that challenge or the chasm, try using the aim mode on a bow user. Ayaka / Mona works too if you have them

Thankfully I have Sayu and Ayaka few weeks after I started playing coz they helped a lot in exploring and running on the rope

0:56 This was more painful then you know, the amount of times I’ve had my ult lost just from me going to do something casually or just before my family and I go to wipe enemy mobs (specifically for that freaking commission where the monolith can’t take damage, we till don’t have the achievement). 😭

Everytime I see ppl who talk about playing this game with others I always wonder how they do it.
Not the “playing with others” part but the “playing in coop” part. If this game wasn’t already empty enough without events, coop locks half the game’s features in. You can only run around in free roam or do dungeons, half of all events are not coop friendly.
I don't have any trouble walking in the rope even without special sprint or bow charge attack, just align your camera and hold your left thumb
yea here's a tip for u guys, if u go into settings u can actually make walking and running into a toggle mode, i.e. u get a button if u wanna walk/ run. i used this when i was a mobile player and its been really helpful
the yoimiya one was so relatable but its usually when im exploring and like running then my hands go to the burst😭😭

@@genshinimpact5117 welpp ikrr.its uncommon when im using a smaller keyboard and unfortunately the W,E and Q keys are also besides each other so "SOMETIMES" i accidentally pressed it.Pressed the E key is still fine but pressed the Q key just nahh😭😭🗿

Her sprint doesnt let her fall off things
Same with sayu
An holding bow charged
Same with Ayaka

the first one on the rope has an option in the settings that if you activate it, you can walk slowly at the time you want, I use it on mobile and it helps me a lot
The second one where tapping the burst icon besides the character makes them brust right out kf switch, is actually a feature i have come to love, i actually use that (depending on my rotations) to save a little time on the abyss and also it comes is handy to i-frame if your are caught by surprise
Wanderer is very handy for those timed ones
And I feel like I'm cheating whenever I use him on those, and I like it XD
Pc players: *Look at what they have to do to mimic a fraction of our powers*
1. the rope one is relatable (try walking instead of running it will be more controlled).
2. yoimiya one is usually rare (mobile players usually develop an instinct on where to press).
3. i feel like for the xiao one, you’re probably not used to mobile mechanics as i notice a slight pause when looking for the button to press next, causing your xiao to not immediately jump and plunge.
if you use both hands, are used to mobile mechanics, memorized button placement somewhat, 2/3 mobile problems you’ve outlined shouldn’t be problems.
good luck with learning how to use mobile! just keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it.

Nope my phone screen is just shitty i guess. Number 2 happens quite often to me and my finger wasn't even touching anywhere near the burst button. And xiao, bro, xiao plunges hurt. Sometimes my screen did not register that im touching the attack button. I wish I can play on pc but sadly I only have my phone to run genshin. There is a lot of pain but still enjoying it. Improvise, adapt, overcome.
yoimiya and xiao one is relateable. But instead I want to instant switch skill but it got switch without using skill. Especially when using fischl. You have to be fast and accurate.
and xiao, well he just keep jumping around not in 1 place. Idk why. Also the jump button is in an awkward position.

The most annoying problem for me as a mobile player is the 'walk' button. I hate it when character accidentally starts walking during the battle...
As a year experienced mobile player i dont have these issues anymore
I learned sprinting in a rope (thanks to chasm)
Learned not accidentally use burst (like i have never had any problem with that)
I learned using Xiao's burst (just play more and u wont have this issue)
Yeah, i think ytuber plays xiao like a dingus on purpose to exaggerate the mobile player's situation. I used to play genshin on mobile until 2.5, and because I've mained xiao since 1.3, I could easily get 10+ plunges per ult because I got used to the timing.
Glad someone said it it. Everyone loves to over exaggerate how difficult it is to play on mobile

The rope thing is harder the taller your characters are. Teen sized characters or baby sized characters pull it off easier. I played a lot of Windtrace matches where you can hide in a tree that needs to be climbed similarly to this rope. If the hunter is a tall character, you can be sure you're safe in that tree x'D or actually, nobody ever caught me there despite hiding there at least 50 times
Basically use sayu's skill if using mobile or charge atk of a bow user ...
For the tightrope time trial earlier, I clear it by running from the top (end point) and fly downwards to the starting point.
I played on mobile and also failed many times starting from the starting point.
So, I only recently switched to PC, as I've exclusively played mobile up until now, but I need to clear up some storage on my phone
It is wild having to adapt to an entirely new style of playing, as I got really good at mobile combat, and could basically defeat everything first go round
Now, I have to get used to the PC controls, and it has been a challenge. Sprinting is one of my main lines of defense when it comes to not dying, and I am having so much trouble getting it down on PC 😭

Tips for mobile : If you're walking on a tightrope, simply aim with your bow character, this prevents your character to fall to the sides

For the first one, you could go ahead to the other side of the rope and walk down/glide down. Or use a sayu etc.
The easiest way to do the tightrope is to run to the end on top that rock and then jump down and use the glider
The rope walk can be easily done even on mobile with Ayaka/Mona sprint, or Yelan and Sayu skill
But some of the players don't have them. Like my friend at ar55

I remember playing genshin 2 years ago on my pc. I returned recently as a mobile player and it took me 2 months to completely adapt to it. Completely relatable!
To climb wires, try using Sayu E, Ayaka alt sprint, or Mona alt sprint as they cannot fall from it
Similarly, bow characters. Press the handy charged shot crosshairs and they won’t fall
I can relate, I switch between PC and Phone and the difference is huge. I usually leave any battle and exploration for PC - battle because it's just too hard, and exploration because the experience is better on PC. But sometimes it is about being creative. For example you have Yelan. She doesn't run off the edge when using her skill and that can be used to pass the rope easily even on phone. Or you can use Sayu, Mona, or Ayaka.

Honestly in the first one with the rope challenge i didnt even try walking on that rope i just directly went to the last particle and then flew down to get the ones on the rope

Note, if you want to burst while changing you can just press CTRL + Character, that way you burst Instantly

@@bhavya.prashant for me I did it first try, I used 2 methods, one was use Sayu up the rope bc she wont fall off when rolling, then I abandoned the challenge bc I wanted to retry without using Sayu and I just instead of walking up the rope, I got the first 2 particles, then I ran to the other side and climbed up and instead of running up the rope I ran down the rope and it was super easy. Idk if it’s me, my game quality, my balance, my control or whatever but bc I never relate to these things, I get angry when people make fun of mobile stuff, especially when I come across people who’ve never even played on mobile and when something is hard on pc they say “imagine how hard this would be on mobile, oh the poor mobile players” when I am on mobile and did it super easily, at least this video, they actually played on mobile which makes me relieved bc I know some people struggle on mobile but it doesn’t mean mobile sucks.

The rope dendro collection could be done easily if you went up and then glided down collecting all the particles in flight
Even struggling with the last chest that is obtainable by running into the fenced..
Also that character swapping, whenever character swaps another character takes it place. Making every time I have to see who I'm swapping . Meanwhile unable to see attacks and dodge.
Hmmmmm, thats why palacement is important, i never have that problem due to my palacement

For 0:13, idk if anyone knows this or brought this up already, but when u have to walk on the rope you can use a bow character and aim with them and stay in the aiming mode. This way you wont fall off
I didn't know that 😅 I just used Mona's sprint cause I knew she couldn't fall off a ledge while she was sprinting and I brute forced through that puzzle 😂
pro tip : use sayu for the rope challange , she doesnt fall off and has great speed
you can also switch characters with their bursts on pc, just hold alt and switch characters

1:40 As a mobile player maining Xiao I can say that this is not true at all. I can use his burst just fine, with zero problems and I daresay that I'm just as efficient when using it than the pc player shown in this video. I believe that the disparity of performance on mobile and pc depends mostly on your experience and therefore aquired skill at playing on either medium. Those who are more accustomed to playing on pc would of course find it much easier than on mobile. The only thing that truly makes a difference between mobile and pc is the graphics, at least as far as I am aware.
I totally relate on changing the active character lol, I often clicked the burst too... many wasted bursts lololol
Lol. I remember my struggle with the first challenge in this video to collect dendro particles. I completed it with running to the end and up rocks and then gliding along the rope.
the pain is relatable but the first one we can use these ideas:
use mona/ayaka's alternative sprint
use aim mode and walk
sayu/yelan's e
they won't let you fall down unless if sayu/yelan's e they might fall if they rolls/sprints ends
The xiao part was too realistic dude💀 when we jump we click plunge like late and we start attacking and that always happens to me in abyss💀💀

Yes, I understand, but I can certainly understand a lot since I have played both mobile and pc I prefer on PC but moving around is really difficult
I have this problem that when Sumeru came out, I went to there in a different way that when I went to Sumeru city, it didn’t give me that Earpiece thing you wear on Lumine or Aether. Now I don’ know how you get that back 😢
For mobile player on the first part , just use a bow character and go into aim mode , you won't fall off while in aim mode

I play on my phone but for the first part, luckily I was saved by my Ayaka. Because her special dash doesnt let you fall of ledges.
In mobile the stanby character number 2 and number 3 sometimes can going up or down, and that makes me swapped into wrong character while doing my rotation team 😢

As a mobile player Xiao main, I’ve been using Xiao and he was my first real and well built dps and I’ve gotten used to his gameplay style so the mobile device doesn’t really affect me
Pokemon sued roblox because of the game and pokemon was even bigger than roblox back in the days so roblox couldnt do anything so they decided to delete it

Can’t you just use Yelan’s elemental skill to dash forward without worry of falling off?
Use mona or ayaka's dash
0:15 tips for this. If you have Mona or Ayaka you can get on it and sprint, they will not fall. If you dont have either of them, just get on it then switch to walking, once you find a straight line just dash but dont touch your moving button, just dash
In the first part, you usually want to complete things faster so you sprint. You usually do not go in a straight line in Genshin when you sprint. I literally wish i knew this earlier
As an ex xiao main I didn’t realize how much this hurts until watching this and realizing pc players don’t share this pain

As i xiao main in genshin mobile, i often accidentally glide when i do the ultimate jump plunge attack thing
for any moment where you need to walk on rope for mobile players: get a bow user doesn't matter who it is and use charged attack you can walk across without falling i did this with amber in the chasm to get that one lumenspar you have to walk across the rope to get

does it not work if you do aiming while crossing rope etc in mobile? in pc if you dont want to fall bc of misclick(or if you did end up falling for any reason at all) you just aim with a bow and just walk
As someone who plays on pc but played on mobile for a few weeks when I took my pc out of my room to redo the wires(it took long just because I was lazy lmao) i died inside. I got hu tao in that time and when I got my pc put back i was so happy
I started playing Genshin on mobile and my very first 5* character was Xiao, I was really happy with him and he helped me with 89% of Genshin content, I really liked playing with him even on phone and didn't have any big problems with him, hehe))) 🤷🏻♀️😂💕
Now I'm playing on PC for a while, but I got many other better DPS characters so I didn't played with Xiao on PC much, but I won't say that I saw a very big difference playing with him on mobile and on PC, it's literally the same for me, idk, ahah XD
The burst one is really killing me 😩🙃 the amount of times i wasted raidens burst because of this is insane 😂😢

I remember when I did Amber's story quest, as a mobile player, I STRUGGLED and it took me a while to realize that there way a loading delay for the rings ;-;
Skill issue
Attempting to run around the top of the church wall to get the luxurious chest on PS4 had me absolutely losing my mind, the difficulty was EXTREME. They I tried it on an alt account on PC and it was a breeze.
as a xiao main, i keep Pressing twice and he equips the glider,, 3 yrs later and i still do it
First part is relatable but if you are strugling just hold the arrow attac and walk easy

If you press alt+[1/2/3/4] you can switch and use the character burst just like in mobile ;)
I managed the tightrope on mobile pretty fairly.

After getting Wanderer, I use him to solve the extra challenging time trials..bro is a life saver
