Those elevators are SLOW for how much floors they serve.. I’ve riden some Mitsubishi that does go fast (3 m/s) that serves 20 floors..

Make sure you don't film people on camera. If you don't speak any fluent languages, have a family member or anyone you closely know well that speaks certain languages that could help you ask permission. I have done that loads of times with my auntie in Beijing 2-3 months ago.
