A hint for future gameplay..storms get worse and damage your shelter...but you have a pick and large boulders that are resistant to storms,so hollow one out and use it until you can build better and stronger structures.
But to be honest, you should be able to breathe since all the animals can. That is unless there's some kind of pathogen in the air. The very fact that there are plants, there's water and a blue sky, indicates that there's plenty of oxygen. Got to love game logic. xD
Some excerpts from the official game website lore page... "Terraforming derailed catastrophically, lacing the oxygen atmosphere with toxins like cyanide, and decimating native life across vast regions of the planet. Some called it genocide. Others asked how this could possibly happen. The time of unity was at an end." "Before leaving, however, the team’s biologists completed one final act: genetic adjustments to their plant and animal payloads, genomic improvements that allowed Earth species to filter toxins from the atmosphere. Released onto the surface, these variants took root, then thrived at ground zero of the failed ‘terrazones’."
One thing I don't get is the character is high tech, landing in a high tech space vehicle (emergency landing or not is irrelevant), then proceeds to gather sticks, stones and berries. Can someone explain this oddity?
Correct as Maddstone Gaming said, basically all these planets have been terra formed and seeded with genetical modified earthlike animals. The terraforming process wasnt 100% successful which resulted in toxins in the atmosphere and the resultant insane storms. Next update coming in August will have more creatures/alien creatures that have been changed due to the terraforming process and new biomes..
Question: Is your microphone rubbing against something? Very irritating background noise. I'll try to continue watching, but that sounds makes it hard...
Also just be aware you have a limited number of attainable levels 50 is max, so only open required tech trees items using points.Dont waste them, ie no point in opening all thatch building items as they dont survive a electrical storm or animal attacksand wood and stone is easily attainable and superior. ie things like a rain catcher are a waste of a point if you are in a valley with a lake or river and water isnt a problem, but a torch is a must for night travel or cave exploration for ores.
Thank you everyone for the helpful tips! Check out episode 2, more to come 😁
Good video, calm voice thats easy to listen to, but just a little bit quiet. Keep up the good work! Thanks for making family-friendly videos
Thanks, will do!
The Knife and Bow are you are your friend.
The Sound design is good because they recorded real sound's of chopping tree with an ax and using a real pick Ax on Stone.
Don't forget a wood hammer. You'll need it since your building in Thatch .

That’s a great idea! I’ll have to keep that in mind for the next time 😊
You'll need a Bone Sickle, you get a ton more thatch, berries... It's just more efficient.

I know right 😂 like there’s everything BUT oxygen?

@@MaddstoneSurvives Ok, then it makes a little more sense to me.
@Raven9010th many plants and animals on Earth have evolved to tolerate much harsh conditions that humans can't survive in.
I can’t hit anything with those throwing spears! I’m impressed.
Put the oxide or whatever it’s called in the slot next to where it says O2 and it will automatically consume it
Thanks for the tip! 😊

Do long series of survival games and I’ll be a subscriber for life. I hate when people do 2 to 3 videos of a game and then quit it. 😊
Absolutely! We’re taking this one all the way 😊
