I LOVE Zanzibar and Stone Town. Be sure to go to Livingston's Bar and grill/restaurant and sit out on the sand and watch the people wander by. Unfortunately they changed the menu (made it more "yuppy-trendy" for the tourists), but its still nice place under the big fig/magnolia trees.... If your staying at one of the beach hotels/resorts, pick the west/Tanzania side, not the Indian Ocean side. The beaches and water are much nicer....

Also although Zanzibar "belongs" to Tanzania. I think at least saying Zanzibar in the title would be more accurate than just Tanzania alone.
