Oooh wow!! I have never seen below arranged like this in a belfry before! I thought you couldnt stack bells on to of each other because of the ropes going through other bell pits. Beautiful old tuning!
These sound brilliant! At 715.5Hz, this is F+, but it's definitely on the borderline from F+ - F#- (which I think begins from 718.5Hz). With headphones on however, they do sound higher pitched from what they actually are (around 723.0Hz I reckon).
Agree there. Yeah they’re not bad, a little on the sluggish side but yeah they’re alright. And yeah the tower does sway a bit. But they are a relatively heavy 6 for a small tower like that
@@JamesJoynson from memory the only tower I’ve been in which sways quite a bit. There not a bad ring of bells. I can remember the tower being on the tall and thin side from memory.
@@RingerThomas Churchill is quite a tall narrow tower from memory. And will move quite well. Long Ashton are a squatter yet fatter tower so with the extra weight it still has some movement. But not as much as Churchill

Are they easy going? They sound great!
Yeah they sound great. Due to them being on wooden headstocks they are a bit sluggish but all in all yeah they’re not bad.
Can you do Brockworth next please?
Cool!
I honestly cant tell if these are F sharp or F good video 👍
By ear, I’d say bottom of F#
These are F +41 cents.
These are in F
Borderline F/F#, or in the old concert pitch then yes they are in F
715.5Hz.
Ring in this tower on an outing years ago. Not a bad ring. But the tower does move quite a bit

@@wrogers433 I’m surprised Long Ashton’s tower doesn’t move with a 30cwt eight swinging like the clappers there!
