So nice to hear this live. Our group played some time ago and it is played wonderfully by your group, sound and presence. Lovely phrasing of passages.
Thank you for this comment, we appreciate it! * what is YOUR group:)?
Clear influence of African, Indigenous and Spanish culture.
Excellent! Bravo! Thank you infinitely for this beautiful video, it has been a gift, because I went back to remember my youth when I was part of a small string orchestra and among the pieces, this was the one I enjoyed the most, as a good Panamanian. Beautiful and perfect execution of this quartet, thank you, thank you, infinite thanks
Raisa, thanks for writing, and so glad you enjoyed this video! Those players are the best :).
I just heard this beautiful 4 part composition this morning on the radio. I'm very happy this was posted on UA-cam. Thanks for the explanation and for educating me about composer Willian Grant Still. The second movement, Mejorana y Socaron is my favorite. Bravo to the three beautiful female violinists and great cello player for their performance. In the midst of this awful pandemic, it is uplifting to hear this musical performance.
Hector, thank you for writing! Glad you enjoyed it!

Great performance. Cello makes a tiny mistake at 13:08, but otherwise, it's wonderful!
What did he do?
