Ace combat fact: The carrier you took off from is named after Captain Nicolas A Andersen who ordered the Ghosts of Razgriz to launch despite the OFS Kestrel being hit by submarine launched missiles and sinking. And now his spirit will live on in the ship that bears his name. I can imagine that there's his ghost in on the bridge of the carrier saluting and wishing Trigger good luck.
the si in the drone is like chatgpt it learns from others and finds ways to improve on that strategy which is what makes it so difficult to kill and its super fast
what music track is being played when trigger's shot down the carrier and taking off?

People say President Harding sacrificed himself for the elevator. That was so the a previous ace combat pilot would be able to return from a space mission. Without the elevator she wouldn’t have been able to comeback from space. So “it’s all coming together for me” is when one of the pilots realized harping sacrificed him self and trigger also saved her. You can hear the space woman and 19:42

@@aaroniousairlines9949 well I had to look it up too. You can’t piece together the story unless you have some background knowledge. Also it was designed to be cryptic. Hence the “name skies unknown” others say harling tried to destroy the elevator. The game has a lot of speculation

I just play for fun jet kills, if i played outside of arcade controls I would just hit the ground.
@@Thewisemanoncesaid Maaaaaaan it's a semi-steep learning curve, I know... but the game is soooo much more rewarding with the expert controls. You can get yourself in tight spots, sure, but you can also execute insane maneuvers. And that also means when you pass the controls to someone else and they crash instantly, you look like a god.

He probably didn’t, when I played the last mission I switched to arcade controls because it makes moving in the tunnels and the last fight in the space elevator a lot easier outside of having to run around to chase the drone

That last part in the tunnel really ruined the game for me. Utter bs. Spec my jet for fast air combat, end up underground in a freaking tunnel with my plane stalling every time I break enough to get out through that fucking eye of a needle. Not restarting the whole freaking mission just to change jet or specs. Screw this.

I swear all the Ace Combats are just cheesy asf nowadays. They used to be fun and somewhat accurate in terms of technology.
And how arent they now?? They still do a pretty good job at balancing the dogfight scenario we all want yet decent boss fights like with the arch bird...

Those MQ 101 drones (the ones dispensed from arsenal bird like dandruff) are actually real. TLS (Tactical Laser System) is also real (used on the "Hugin" drones seen in this video). People are trying to get governments working towards building a space elevator this is old news but an actual space elevator could resemble the one seen in this video. As you can see it's structure climbs higher than any civil structure before it (about 10km high going by the in-game altimeter) that's 9 times taller than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai but the rest of the structure is all just a bunch of cables (until you make it to the space port) this lines up with reality very well. It's no elevator to the moon, but building a moon elevator is an impossible project for several different (but related) reasons.
All of the craft seen in this game (sans the first drones MQ-99 and "Hugin") are real aircraft.
