I made these. They came out beautiful! Although I used fireline 15mm frost string. I love love them. Also i hung the earwire off the bicone on the left so there hanging side ways when wearing. Thx!

Ok. New to the needle beading game (I've typically used monofilament, hence my question, please don't kill me). What's the difference between Fireline and regular thread? I was messing around with some of my thread a few days ago, and I saw a bit of pilling, so is that the big difference? Also, where can I get the Fireline? (I'm wanting to expand my skills and tools.) Thank you so much, they are SO cute in black, I actually kind of prefer the black! ❤❤❤
Fireline is a braided fishing line, very strong, flexible and lightweight and easily extended with a square not and heat technique, which aids in the process of adding thread to a project. You can get it at sporting goods store with a fishing department. It is a fishing line. Monofilament curls and is hard to add to when doing a large project, it is also not as flexible. Regular thread is not strong enough to hold up against breakage, crystals tend to cut it. And yes, it frays and separates easily...Fireline hold up better.
