Love these heart/strawberry earrings! So easy to stitch, using superduos, which are one of my favorite beads, to make a beautiful pair of earrings. You probably could make a matching pendant also. Thanks, Teddy, for sharing this lovely project with us.
I've got many different colors in the super duo can't wait to try. It may take a while my hands don't work that like they use too so takes a little longer but worth it to make beautiful jewelry.
FYI: I didn't have any monofilament & tried it with 6lb fire line (which doesn't work for this project) & double re-enforced both inner & outer edges. It doesn't hold shape & makes an elongated heart. Project was still fun to do, but will definitely get some monofilament. They are super cute earrings.
I presume you mean that they were perhaps floppy made with Fireline? If so, I'd just use some Mod Podge on the backs to stiffen - if you didn't have monofilament. Worth a thought perhaps?
@@BijuTeo It's a thick sort of paste usually used for crafts like decoupage I think - beauty is that it's white when wet but dries clear and stiffens whatever it's applied to. I've used it for jewellery projects quite a few times where elements are more floppy than I like. Only thing is it will dull crystals a bit but if there's a definite back to a piece it's not so important. Maybe not so great since your design is reversible I'd imagine?
@@Tikvah99 I think it will work, because when you put the earring finding you choose which to be the front and which to be the back. Just pay attention and put the Mod Podge at the back side 🙂
Thank you for your question. I am not sure what you do wrong, but you could try to reinforce the outer edge of your heart one more time. Wish you luck! 😉❤️

I love these, but the V part always flips up.. what did I do wrong?

Why are they called "Rondelle" hearts when they're made with Superduos not Rondelles?
The title says Superduo beads. Where do I say Rondelles? Probably somewhere in the video by mistake?
