Your card is great! I bet your nephew loved it! You have amazing ideas and knowledge. I never could have done such a complicated and difficult card without tutorials and dies. Thank you for sharing your talent with and knowledge with us!
I love this card! I still don't quite understand how the dino head mechanism works. It would be great if you can do another similar card with that kind of element & show in more detail how that part works. Thanks for sharing!
Laura Buehler You're right... I kinda hurried through the process to not end up with a super long video. But I'll definitely make another card with the same mechanism. ^_^
Thank you so much, this card is amazing. I came across your video searching for interactive cards without dies and even though you do in fact use dies, I found the way you explained (Thank you for the second video by the way) made it easy for me to make my own from scratch.
Laura, though I’m a little late seeing this video, I had to say this card is absolutely amazing, it’s one of the most unique cards I’ve ever seen! Thank you immensely for sharing and explaining your steps, and your English is perfect! ❤️
This is a fantastic card! I loved it when I saw it on thevMFT winners page, but seeing it action is even more amazing! Thanks for showing the process, and congrats on your win! You totally deserved it!
Una tarjeta ganadora. Y menos mal, menos mal, que los de MFT han sabido darse cuenta... ^_* Es increíble esta tarjeta, Laura. Increíble y preciosa. Un besazo enorme cargado de toneladas de cariño.
Thank you so much, Elinor! In a couple of days my latest interactive card tutorial is going to be uploaded to the MFT Stamps UA-cam channel. Check out the one that I made last month (if you haven't already) meanwhile: ua-cam.com/video/6rQcEYQpDgI/v-deo.html Hugs!
I've come late to your tutorials, but am THRILLED to have found them!! (I do, however, have to watch them in short bursts, as the "background" music, as in this vid, sends me running for my anti-anxiety med. Something about the repetition of the refrain just is not something I can handle. Tried watching without the audio, but you have so much vital info in your voice-over that that was just not an option. But, again, thank you BUNCHES for these valuable tutes!!)
Thank you for your feedback and for subscribing! So sorry to hear that you find the music unbearable... I've learned a lot since these early days (it was one of my very first tutorials). Check out my videos at the MFT Stamps channel (without music) or maybe you came from there...ua-cam.com/users/MFTKim
Hola! Sorpresivamente encontré tu canal y que gustó ver tanta creatividad. Felicidades! Me encanto tu tarjeta. Muchas gracias por compartírla. Saludos, Rosie
Thank you for watching and leaving a sweet comment! I really need to upload some new tutorials to my own channel! I do have a bunch of them on the MFT Channel though: ua-cam.com/play/PL5zrte4Fteqbq-3AKswxgxUa_IgZATKbG.html&si=bRSAPkI8u581ozj6 😁
YOU are a genius! I would so love to make a card like this - is there any printed out tutorials? A list of dimensions and/or steps to take? My teeny brain needs quite a bit of help. So appreciate your inspiration Laura - thanks!
Thank you, Anne! Most of the measurements are in the video, but here you go... I'm guessing that the lowest panel measures 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" and I know that the sliding panel is: 3 2/8" x 2", I also know that the middle panel that looks square is 4 5/8" x 3 6/8". The white strip that is glued to the tower measures 1" x 5 1/2, so the thinnest part of the gray tower (with the bird) is the same width and the wider "cow tower" measures: 1 11/16" x 3 1/2". The cardbase is 9 1/4" wide (scored at 4 5/8") x around 8" tall. The cellophane strip measures 1 1/2" x 6".
This is awwwwwesome! What an amazing card, what young boy wouldn’t love this. Makes me wish my 15 year old son was little again, lol. Thanks for sharing and inspiring. New subbie, can’t wait to check out the rest of your cards.
Aaaaw, thank you so much, Eve! I think I've gotten a lot better at making tutorials in these past five years, so I invite you to check out my more recent stuff. 😁
Love love love this card. I’m trying to make something similar for my nephew. Could you please tell me the dimensions of the card? Like of each mechanism panel please. It will help my decide my card size. Thanks!!
