      I'm so impressed that he managed to become a paramedic and firefighter while training MMA at an elite level. EMT training is NO JOKE. I did medical assistant training while I was in law school and just the terminology component almost killed me on top of school. Fucking jargon overload. EMT training is at least three times harder than my medical program - I can't imagine how determined Stipe had to be to pull this off while doing something as physical as elite MMA on top of it. I get exhausted just thinking about it. What a warrior!

    • @thomasstone411

      DougglesMagnificent
      Dude, I am in law school. You don't have time to learn EMT. Either you never attended law school and making up bullshit (which is the obvious choice) or you probably have an internet degree.
      Law School is NO JOKE and you smell of what the puder is cooking.

    • @DougglesMagnificent
      @DougglesMagnificent 8 років тому

      Thomas Stone Read again more closely. I didn't do the EMT program (I said that there's no way I could have handled it). I did the much easier MOA (Medical Office Assistant) program, one hour a night.

    • @DougglesMagnificent

      Thomas Stone "EMT training is at least three times harder than my medical program - I can't imagine how determined Stipe had to be to pull this off while doing something as physical as elite MMA on top of it."
      I could barely handle the medical terminology part of the MOA program, and that's just a small component of the EMT program. That was my point. Read closer before dissing someone.

      Overeem's great but his chin is mad suspect, Stipe will most likely KO

    • @justicemurphy23
      @justicemurphy23 8 років тому

      Overeem has the best knees and is probably the strongest fighter in the UFC and ever since joining Jackson mma he seems to be a much more intelligent fighter, he doesn't have a chin, but the real question is can stipe take it

    • @chrisp4643
      @chrisp4643 8 років тому +1

      ThatSkaterJustice
      Stipe's proven to be able to go 5 hard rounds taking big shots against JDS, he's one of the toughest in the division with lots of heart. Overeem does hit really hard but I don't see Stipe getting finished, possible but not likely imo

      Stipe would beat Werdum 9/10... His boxing and striking is better. He has the cardio plus he has the wrestling pedigree to keep it standing and out of Werdum's wheel house.

    • @ronstatlind5254
      @ronstatlind5254 8 років тому

      you're an idiot if you think stipe beats werdum 9/10. Complete moron...Werdum was just being stupid and rushed. He is far more experienced than Stipe. Lmao, uneducated casual

    • @JEFFCLEVANDR
      @JEFFCLEVANDR 8 років тому

      Ron Statlind No he wasn't... He's done this in ALL his recent fights... Go back an look at his fight against Cain Velasquez or his fight against Travis Browne... He rushed in w/ the SAME lack of defense as he did in this fight against Stipe. Also, Stipe's boxing pedigree as well allowed for him to SEE Werdum coming in... If you don't know (as you come across as a the real casual fan) Stipe is a Golden Glove boxing champion... This aggressive no defense style is indicative of ALL Rafael Corderio students... Look at RDA he has the same type of style... He just hasn't been caught...

    • @jozakroat

    • @peso3104

      +Clev Eland lmao haha u sound smart to someone stupid. u clown. stipes wrestling is no were near werdum jiujitsu. an go check how many fighters in ufc are goldn glove fighters. lots.u bring up him pushing foward in the velasquez fight. lol go look how cormier fights. aplying pressure works sometimes but dangerous. just cause stipe won fight doesnt make him a better martial artist.

      Yeah. Usually the Heavyweight is promoted as "the guy". Historically in combat sports, the heavyweight champions draw the most money.

    • @pullupthen5073
      @pullupthen5073 8 років тому

      Protoman that hasn't been the case in recent years. Floyd was the biggest draw in boxing and fought the majority of his career at 140 and even went as low as 126. Conor is the biggest draw in MMA and he fights at 155 and no more than 170
