Last-minute deal to get Canada's freight trains back on track

Canada's government stepped in to force two big Canadian rail lines and their union into binding arbitration over a contract dispute. The deal will keep the trains running, preventing potential supply-chain disruptions on both sides of the border. NBC News' Christine Romans reports.

The cost of disruptions are massive. That's why it is important for management to work with employees to ensure that doesn't happen. Unfortunately, sometimes we need government to step on to prevent greed from ruining the economy.

It's unacceptable that the Teamsters could be allowed to damage Canada's economy with so much at stake. they are selfish and don't merit the right to strike, binding arbitration is a tradeoff but crucial. It would have been outright negligent for the Gov't to do otherwise.
