No Electivire, Lantern, Jolteon, Manectric, Galvantula, or Electross but we got three spots for Rotom. That makes no sense.

@@melvondrewhite2674 especially Eelektross, no weaknesses as long as you don't send it out against a PokeMon with either Smack Down or Ingrain, and even if that happens you can get a ton of coverage. I hope it appears in Scarlet & Violet
Lanturn sucks, jolteon is too frail, electivire has no good electric type stab, eelektross is too slow, galvantula is quite frail

Sometimes I wish Magnezone had levitate as an ability. I know it would be pretty broken, but it just makes sense. It’s literally floating and the majority of floating Pokémon have levitate as their ability.
Agreed! Alolan Raichu should have it too.
Magnezone still has a 4x weakness to fighting,and a weakness to fire. It would still be balanced

For Pokemon like Raichu and Rotom, I used the forms that they have and combined them into one entry, since that makes things less of a pain in the ass.
It was an interesting list Mystic. Dont know how to feel about Rotom taking 3 spots but hey th other choices make total sense.

I loved using Boltund in my last Pokémon Shield playthrough. Cool design and pretty versatile. Luxray is a favourite Electric type from earlier generations. 🙂

This list is unfair because 1/3 of the list is Rotom and its forms!
Light Ball Pikachu and Electross could had made the list if it wasn't for that bad loophole. . .

I love magnezone. Even tho it's slow and weak to ground 4 times, it's special attack and defense is decent enough.

Magnezone is far and away my favorite Pokémon. Its partial steel typing gives it SO many resistances and it has high Sp. Atk, meaning it can take hits as well as it can deal them. With Magnet Rise, ground type moves become a non-issue. Plus, its cry is sick! I pretty much have to have it on all my gen 4 teams
I am a it surprised that Electross didn't make this list.
Here’s my hot take,eelektross should’ve been no.1 on the list cuz of its movepoll and the ability levitate on it. Sure Dracozolt is a good pokemon in terms of typing wise but it adds some weakness that is neutral against. Eelektross only having one weakness would be good enough for it

Id love Normal typed to round out possible starter types.
Electric is my favorite typing next to Dragon, but giving Rotom three slots for three of its forms feels like cheating to me. I feel it should've had one slot talking about its most useful forms and made way for other noteworthy Electric types like Jolteon, Galvantula, and Lanturn.
Oh, well. At least the rest of the list is nice, and I did enjoy using Pokémon like Magnezone, Heliolisk, Toxtricity, and Dracozolt. Those were all fun Pokémon to use right there, and it shows how strong the Electric type is.

Nah the issue is each of the rotom forms are significantly better than the other mons you mentioned due to also having the immunity
He should have included Ampharos and Luxray. They’re early route encounters, have great move pools, especially Ampharos in HGSS, and they don’t evolve at crazy high levels. They’re companions to your starters and are almost like a secondary starter since they’re usually going to be a part of your team from the start until the finish. They’re staples for every team in the generations that they were introduced in.
Manectric deserves an honorable mention because of all of the water types in Hoenn but it’s only a viable option in Gen 3. It gets outclassed in ORAS by Magnezone.
I would prefer Ampharos over Luxray, because back then, it’s movepool wasn’t actually as good.

@@cringechungus I’m assuming it’s based off his own opinion? Because it definitely isn’t based off of which games they’re available in, Base Stat Totals, in-game play through viability, competitive viability (VGC and Smogon), or hardcore/normal/monotype nuzlockes.

@@cringechungus when you say something is the best or strongest, there needs to be some metric in which it is measured by. His lists are great and I agree with some of his choices, however, how is the ranking done? What is it based off of? I’m not calling him an idiot or saying his lists are wrong, I’m just trying to understand how he comes to the determination on which Pokémon are the strongest.
I mean, I like the guy. I’m subscribed to all of his channels and I like all of his videos. He’s a great content creator and I like the content that he puts out. It doesn’t mean that I have to blindly agree or support all of his opinions. Disagreeing with his opinions is great because it brings about conversation and interaction within the comment section. Which is always good for the algorithm.

I don’t agree with including different rotom forms. That seems a bit lazy considering they’re literally just different forms of the same Pokémon. You could have filled out the list a bit more with deserving Pokémon

List of honorable mentions I assume are Ampharos, Manectric with Lightning Rod ability, Galvantula, Regular Rotom, Eelektross with Levitate so it won't have any weakness, Electivire, Frost Rotom that turned from ghost to ice, and Kanto Raichu
Dig is a two turn move which is horrible competitively, your opponent can just switch to a flying type

Think that making Rotom appear 3 times on this list was more a cheap cop out than being able to do more research into other electric types. I'd have averaged the spots you put them on and included two others that make sense for this top 10.

Not sure if you've done this, but would like to see what Pokemon every Elite Four+the champion would have if they had access to ALL region pokemon. For example, would Lance have Hydreigon and Haxorus along with Dragonite, Flygon, Salamence?
Dragonite, Salamence, Flygon, Garchomp, Haxorus and Hydreigon would be BEYOND hard to get through.

I'd argue Galvantula is better than Vikavolt, it's much faster and has Compoundeyes + Thunder.
Vikavolt Has Higher Defenses & Special Attack While Also Being Able To Learn Agility AND Given The Quick Claw He Completely Outshines Galvantula !

@@melvondrewhite2674 vikavolts defenses aren’t much better. With its terrible speed, it’s probably getting killed by flamethrower before it can do anything. Also galvantula learns energy ball, so it CAN hit ground types for super effective damage
