I plan on growing a wild rose indoors and everywhere you read „roses can not be grown indoors“. But i am stubborn and that‘s why i am so glad to have found your video. Now i have the proof that roses can indeed be grown indoors. So thank you very much for your video!
@@doneundone22 I didn‘t have enough space indoors so i put the rose outside on my balcony and kept it there overwinter. It did well during frost, no problem. In february however, it got warmer and i watered not enough so the rose died, my bad.
@@doneundone22now I'm wondering how you did, bc I'm here for the same reason you were. I love houseplants and I just received a lovely rose (my first rose) from a neighbor that's moving, but I don't want roses in my garden so I want to keep it indoors. All of my other plants are thriving so that makes me want to try it out with the roses also.
@@daffied98 I am currently in Canada, so I winterized the rose. I give it fertilizer every 3 months, and luckily we get good amount of sunlight even in winters. Have kept them away from any heat vents and kept a humidifier nearby.
I want to cry! 🙏 Your video made me feel so much better. I'm moving soon and my new place wont have direct sun except for laundry area (facing south?) and Im moving from a house with a garage and full sun frontage facing east 😭 I will bring my plants with me and im determined to make them flourish at our collective new life!♥🙏 God bless!
Oh you are my hero!!!!! Thank you for this video! I subscribed and need to look at your channel! I do not have a yard, but am obsessed with roses! I tried several times to grow them indoors and have failed miserably!! Now I have some tips! Thank you so much for sharing! God Bless you! 🙏
This was actually really helpful! I appreciate how you talk about what you did wrong and what to do instead. The whole video is informative, thank you so much!
Very nice video thank you I just bought two miniature roses from the supermarket so yes I have an apartment so I don’t have places to grow them outside. I have these spectacular grow lights so they’re under there and we’ll see how they do. Thanks again for the video.
Thanks a lot, I have a small yard, but it is under the shadow, I used to try different fertilizers in hope to grow the roses, but it is a fact that the roses need the light and the video is very helpful in order to avoid the problem with the lack of sunlight, now I can substitute it with bulbs.
Thanks for this. I have a bedroom with lots of sunlight coming through big windows. I just brought in a hybrid tea rose that I purchased about a month ago. I had repotted it and planned to place it outdoors, but could not bear to, so I brought it inside. I'm scared to death, and I wish I had used potting soil instead of garden soil. I just cut 2 long-stemmed roses and there are several more buds getting ready to bloom soon. I hope I can carry this off. :)
I'm not surprised about how tall your Let Freedom Ring rose grew. Was it not an option to trim it and force it to branch? Well, I'm sure you were giving us your best example regarding height. I'm also realizing that there is quite a learning curve with these roses. Very appreciative that you're showing us the full breadth of your experiences.
Thanks for the info. Enjoyed the video. We have a yellow mini rose Bush we bought on Valentines Day that we want to keep in good shape for Winter, so we can plant in summer.
They're beautiful! It was just a lot of information that you have given just to take care of the roses and it just doesn't seem as easy as what you saying they are.
Wow. I have only ever heard of roses flourishing outdoors! But it looks like u are doing an excellent job indoors. u certainly know your stuff. I applaud u! Anything is possible. And, what is the name of the speckled pink and white variety? at my work, we sell that same variety as cut flowers and I forget the name!! :) Absolutely stunning!! Xxxx
@@coyefuller753 do u keep it inside? Roses do really well outside bcuz they need full sunlight. they need strong bright light in order to flower , but if u want the bloom to have a fragrance, it will need the direct sunlight :) Make sure the soil is always moist and fertilize it right now if u can
When overwatering the roses, do they appear dry? Ive just gotten a potted rose for valentines but it keeps getting dryer and dryer and I for the life of me cant figure out why.. the only thing i can think of is lack of sunlight due to UK winter or potential overwatering?
I plant mini roses in the ground last year & they are still alive this year , growing big although it was extremely cold last year. I thought all died but they didn't
Hello there, thank you for this wonderful video. You definitely are doing great with your roses. I have couple miniature rose plants and I see that they have a treand. They get new growth, likes leaves and then they drop them, new growth does not survive. These are now on a rack with shop lights and I have started my routine of fertilizing them regularly. I need your help knowing why the leaves drop, how can I help m plant grow and bloom. I live in Canada and the weather is dry indoors. But I try to keep the soil moist. Any help would be great.
could you give me more information about the LED light that you used for rose. Because diffrent type of tree need diffrent type of LED light lengthwave. thanks
Thank you for this video. So inspiring. Just want to ask what is a good rule of a rose plant per grow light bulb? Is it 1:1 for each full spectrum bulb to plant?
Please share how much wattage I need for my miniature hybrid indoor roses. I bought one indoor 35W. Is it true that I need to vary the wattage on alternate days? Which wattage lamp should I buy, please?
So I'm buying a church and I am moving from my old home which has 15 rose bushes that are 3 to 5 years old so they're well-established and I thought they would look lovely in doors in the main hall
Terra Cotta is a color. The pot is a clay pot and clay is made of dirt and is baked in an oven for several hours and than cooled down for several hours, as well. Thanks.

What makes a "cactus" soil is one ingredient, SAND. This is not only great for roses but plants like Plumaria that are native to tropical regions.
You should link to these products in the description and make a little cash for yourself! Great tips thank you!
