Yo keep you cuff bolts tight. I've lost 2 from my 909s while skating. I replaced them with usd cuff bolts. But out of my usd cardon's, m12 my 909s are my favorite.
Thanks man ✌🏽 yeah I liked the fluid V frames. Took a good few sessions to get use to them tho.. since the goove is so shallow, you really got to bend those knees and get low, to get boot down when doing groove tricks. I prefer them over GC fl4, because of the h block making the frame groove even higher in wideness, you need to bone over for grinds even more! The fluid V's groove works surprisingly really well, they're small bot the little lips they have seem to make you lock onto grinds pretty nicely. It makes you feel like you're more precise and in the middle.. so yeah.. takes a little getting you too cause it's a whole different feel if you've been skating wider groove frames. My personal fav flat frames at the moment are the Kizer V and kaltik Stealth frames, both have pro and cons 🤷🏾♂️ bit in saying all this... I'm back skating create frames, anti rocker set up with 62mm on the outside. I'm going to try 64mm when I need new wheels but this only possible cause I'm skating razor SL at the moment ✌🏽
thanks for your review! im so interested in them 909 and USD sway these days. how about them 909 compred with USD sway? which one do you recommend for wide foot? ( i have a intuition premium liner already) im thinking about them 909 but USD sway is so affordable.
Sup bud, I personally like the 909 better for boot fit as my feet are wide too. But in saying that I did try downsize the sway and that was a mistake, if I went with my proper boot size it would of been fine 🤷🏾♂️ the sway has a very healthy soul plate.. but because of how big it is, I found myself washing out alot 😅 too use to having smaller souls. I haven't tried the new them soul plates but I'd say they'd be all good 💪🏽 tbh, both skates are good, both have pro and cons 🤷🏾♂️ sway is cheaper and will have better forward and back flex with your intuition liners. Them cost more but are really solid skates. I suggest finding a friend who has sways so you can just try them on for size... depending on your foot size will also determine if you want to skate them boots as they only really come in 3 sizes (excluding xs) they'll either fit and look all good or they'll look like gumboots on you 😅
I only skated them how they came. Haven't played with the setting. I hear if you change them to the low setting, they're more supportive, even more solid. I definitely know that's not for me so probably won't even try the other setting 😅
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW Did you ever change the cuff to the low setting? I just got the Pat Ridder 909 boot with intuition liner and im considering trying the lower setting on the cuffs
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW absolutely. I went ahead and did some midnight maintenance on mine last night and set them low to try them out. I did notice, like your video, that I was able to get the liner a bit tighter, hook the skate laces down nice, and have the cuff looser on the lower setting. So we’ll see.
i just switched to 909's from cults, and i love them, but omg the 909 souls are a bummer without too much wax. instead of some smooth plastic, it actually has a grip to it wtf. has anybody else noticed how badly they slide, or am i just used to really fast souls, and just need to get used to it? do they get faster after grinding the not-smooth surface down?? thanks!
Razors are known for their fast souls.. so changing to a different boot you'll notice how much slower other skates are. You'll get use to them in time and once they wear in. They don't get any slower which is good, unlike aeons. I just got the pat ridders and tested them out today, I've been skating Razor SL again for the past few weeks so I totally get where you're coming from... got to relearn how to grind 😅
Thank you ! That does help . I’m a 9.5US and M intuition V2 I’m thinking I can squeeze in a S shell. Aeons slide terribly and I was sold after 5 minutes on the brain dead thems sooo slick
@@Sac2Bay haha, yeah i hear the aeons get really slow once they're worn in. People complain about how small the Them soul plates are.. But honestly I think there fine. But hey.. each to their own and whatever makes you feel awesome to skate in. And... how good is the promo edit?!! damn, sooo goood!!
thanks man. And, I've seen pics of people with the 908 cuffs on the 909. Not sure how different it would be... and i think (don't quote me) that you have to use the 908 cuff bolts too
Dude I been trying to get MFTBrand to make restock merch forever but they keep dragging their feet despite their dope-ass team. AND I f*king live in Japan.

@@wolfculturedec I was rocking the daily rollin 58mm wheel. Rounded profile.. well, rounded then flat.. so more bullet shaped. ✌🏽 I like that type of shape more when skating flat, less wheel bite
thanks for the great video. awesome skating!
i love the all white 909s and just ordered a pair myself. ❤
Thanks bro 👊🏼 yeah there's someone about white skates.. sexual 🤣 have fun when you get them 🙌🏽
mint personal initial thoughts bol! and liked the voice over during your tricks at the start!

chur! thanks for the tip! I'll definitely tighten them up before every skate. My man!
Try using Loctite Blue 242 on your bolts. $5.97 for a little 6ml bottle. Haven’t lost a bolt yet.
Those white 909 look fresh 2 death

Do they fit big ? What size shoe do you wear compared to the shell size ?
I wear a size 8 US, but I'm a 7.5US in reign liners. My feet are 25cm long ✌🏽hope that helps
