It seems to me that the AI calculates the shortest way to the keep und attacks everything in front of it (sort of) to get to it but with all those walls at the starting area it fails to find even a single path - like it is terrain etc. Otherwise the raid part of the army should have done something who is responsible for destroying buildings and so on
What is with the large stacks of units just disappearing? You seem to save the game, select a big blob of units and then a few moments later they all disappear. You even put a ":)" the first time it happens. It happens again just after 08:40. How are you just deleting units with the mouse? Console command?
Ive played it using the wall exploit trick, and boy it got so buggy, cows never growing, archers murdering all deers, peasants never spawning... you make 100 archers and its easy tho

It’s a glitch, there’s a certain chance that if a large army of troops walks on a series of traps, they will just disappear.
