Living with the BlackBerry Pearl: What to expect!
Вставка

- In this video, we take a nostalgic look back at the BlackBerry Pearl, a beloved phone from 2006. My dad owned this compact, candy-bar-style phone, and it came with all the classic games and features that made BlackBerry famous.
Using the BlackBerry Pearl today is a completely different experience. With only one camera, no Wi-Fi, no 4G, and lacking modern features like waterproofing, it may seem outdated, but it still holds a special place in my heart.
Did you ever own or use a BlackBerry Pearl? Share your thoughts and memories in the comments below-we’d love to hear from you!

Gotta love brick breaker
🎮🎮🎮
I LOVED my Pearl! Many people complained about the SureType keyboard, but once you used it for a few days, it was truly just as fast as QWERTY.
I was 25 when this phone came out, I got the pink one and I thought I was the queen!!
My favourite feature of the Blackberry Pearl and Bold etc, was the little mirrored thing beside the camera lens so you could kind of get an idea of what the best angle was for a selfie. Nowadays we have a camera on the front of the phone so we can just look at the screen, but I think it would be good to put the mirror on the back again since the rear camera is always much higher quality.
The battery sticker is printed white at the factory and turns pink or red when exposed to moisture. A red sticker doesn't mean the battery is a goner, it just means the warranty is void as it's probably been dunked in water.
I owned a few of these. And that is exactly why I'm at your video haha. A lot of people don't know that BlackBerry is still around and very much alive and doing very well. They're not in the phone market anymore. But they are in cybersecurity and the automotive industry. A huge number of cars out today run BlackBerry QNX software. Such as Ford Sync and a whole bunch of other vehicles. Blackberry has a huge foothold in the automotive software industry. Because it allows cars to be connected to the internet securely.
Love the blackberry. Takes me back some years!
Waiting on the #BlackBerry take over!
Loved my Pearl as all my BB phones. Nothing has come close to the sheer enjoyment of using BB phones x
I remember working a paper route every morning for 3 years to pay for this phone
What's a paper route?
@@sayhitosteve2785 A lot of the time teenagers will deliver news papers on their bikes. Getting paid like $50 every 2 weeks.
Man. The memories. I went to this from a Razr.
Real camera. SD card. I loved them. I still have both of them
I really love Blackberry phones. I have a Nokia C3-00 and It was this little powerful smartphone in my hands that really made me happy. I love the Blackberry phones a bit more than the Nokia's because in my opinion, you were able to do a lot more with the blackberry phones and I still love those phones. I think they are perfect just like the blackberry pearl. Thank you so much for making this video. It makes me happy to hear that more people in the world love these old but very lovable smartphones to use as a special memory or to do something else. Thank you and God bless the both of you's
I owned one of these and it's still top 3 phones I've ever owned.
I have a lot of heart felt memories with the pearl
I owned one . I was 21 years old I remember sending people my pin or something like that it was amazing
Loved the SureType feature, definitely my favorite phone of that time.
I still have this mobile and it’s working ❤❤
The Blackberry Lives On!
I LOVED my Blackberry Pearl. I must admit that many people questioned how I texted, seeings that each button had 2 characters. I would mention / explain the SureType program.
My favorite phone I've had if all time phone. 24 years of having phones.
My first smartphone back in 06. I absolutely loved it. It made sms and BBM so easy. Besides that it had so many features that a lot of new phones have. Blackberry made great phones.
This phone was so beautiful
I did own one back in 2006 or 2007 my first smart phone mine was silver
Greatness.
Yes. I had the blue one. I'm trying to find one to use, no luck
I had one! Really liked it and could type quickly with it. Went from this to my first iPhone.
This was my first BlackBerry and it was a great phone! Popular with celebs in the day and there was a way to change the trackball light colour via the software.
Only on some versions. On mine for example, you could only change the colour of the trackball by colouring the white LED behind the ball with a sharpie or something similar. The indicator LED was a different story, though.
I had the red version and used to call it my iron man phone 😂😂
It was!
Still have mine
Best phone I ever had
This was a great phone
I had the red one and the pearl changed colors
The red was 👌
I owned multiple Pearls and a couple Bolds, too.
I loved my BlackBerry Curve!
That and my T-Mobile G 1 , and also Nextel bring back memories. Great phones.
COOL PHONE .. I STILL USE IT IN 2023
I wish they would reboot the company blackberry
Same here!
Great first smartphone for me.

I had one of these when they came out and Ive just bought one offa ebay. So I end up here wondering can I unlock it and still actually use it on todays EE network.
Evidently there is a lintball in my samsung galaxy note 20 ultra and that is preventing it from charging. Im like I have never heard of that ever.
I remember wanting this phone way back when my carrier T-Mobile (still T-Mobile today) had this phone on sale for about $50 with contract. I wanted to get it but I couldn't afford the data plan. Oh well, I got an Android just few years later anyway. WAAAAY better!

Good For You! Phones These Days Have Too Much Junk And Bad Grammar, And This Is Just Nostalgic As Well As Efficient ( Well, For Phone Calls When It Works. It Is Portable Anyway. ) I Thought The Whole Point Of A Phone Was For Communication And Emergencies. Those New Apple Watches Seem Good For That, And Are Mainly Like Touch - Screened Old Phones. Well, Some - What.
High school days
I wanna buy this phone in India
Hqve tbis phone internet? 3 g?

Can you actually use whatsapp or Fb on this phone?
