I’ve done the encapsulated stone before but with the tiny stones. The bigger ones made my nail too bulky for me. Use clear if you really want to see them. I remember watching this video. I hope ya’ll are doing ok and love how this recreation came out.
He was really onto something with the encapsulated rhinestones I think. Maybe do a jelly on the under side of the nail to still have that color, place the rhinestones on top, and then use a clear poly gel or acrylic to encapsulate them.

I've been watching your videos off and on for several years now and honestly it's been really awesome so see you grow into yourself and your content. You always seem so genuinely excited and happy with each project that you do and you can tell that you're doing it because it genuinely brings you joy. I'm the type of guy who paints his nails maybe once in a blue moon any more, but it is so cool to see how creative you are with your nail designs and I've honestly learned a lot about fake nails from watching your videos. Honest to goodness, back when I was still in funeral service and people would ask me hypotheticals about what one would do if someone came in with acrylics (I only ever ended up doing the natural nails of little old ladies which was honestly fun in itself lol), the only reason I had any sort of answer for them was because of the few things I remembered from watching you. (How to deal with grown out fake nails, or fake nails in general is really not something they teach you in mortuary school.) Anyway, your videos are such a joy to watch and I really look forward to them as a way to de-stress.

I love this idea a lot!!!!! For poping off your nails for sure, use a peel off basecoat like the Holo Taco one. Babygirlnails use a water base foil glue (a non curing one) and it works really fine for her. I saw the oil working if you pop them right away after they're done. I know E-nail couture have a peel off base coat too and Modelones have one too, and it's a curing one
I’m not sure about specific peel off base coats for practicing with acrylic or poly gel but UNT Peel Off Base Coat and Holo Taco Peely Base are great for removing nail polish/gel polish easily.

I've used the technique that Kirsty Meakin used to do on the Naio channel to do temporary nails on her daughters and it works pretty well, especially with polygel. I just buff and shine my natural nails to a really high shine, then go straight on with polygel, no base coat. There are also nail guard film stickers you can get that work really well, so you can file and everything pretty much like normal without worrying about your nails popping off in the middle of doing them🤗

Hi Emily! There is a Korean brand that sells peel-off base coat in which you can remove your whole nail extensions using only acetone in a glimpse of time. You can see the product on Jounail’s channel! In her most recent videos this is all she uses cause like you she redo her nails every week. So it’s very practical Edit: I really think you should try it!!

Hi emily.x yet another fab fab video. You have inspired me sooo much. With regards to your wanting a nail friendly base that will allow your nail tip to be removed without damage.. for very short time wear... I use a rubber latex that is normally used for ease of cleanup around the nail when doing nail art ect. I put a layer of peel off liquid latex. Let it dry then add your base coat...... The easiest by far way to remove the tip with ease and no damage... I do this method whenever I'm practicing on my own hand and never had a prob... Hope this helps...

asp has AMAZING peel off base coat! only comes off with a bit of cuticle oil!
I use holo taco peely base coat gel. I use this for gel overlay nails and acrylic. It's really good!

Simplynailogicals peel off base coat is outstanding
I've seen a lot of people use elmers glue as a peel off base coat. Seems to work pretty well
