Id greatly appreciate finding out more info on the copper stake size, where i can find the stakes, and know more about the two devices the copper foil tape wrapper and the cutter for the stakes. Many thanks Annie
Hello! The stakes I use are simple some metal stakes I find at the hardware store and then I cut them in half. I use 3/4” copper pipe to fit over the stake and make it so the glass pieces are removable. The cutter for the stakes is a little harbor freight find and the copper foil wrapper is called The Table Foiler.
Thank you for sharing your work. You are clearly focused to do so many at of those! Question: What kind of saw are you using? My glass teacher got one that didn’t work out very well and she is trying to find a brand that is small but won’t die easily! Thank you! Beautiful work!

These are adorable! I loved watching the whole process including cutting the little copper tubing. Is that how you cut the silverware too?
Hi! To cut the silverware I use a paid of bolt cutter. But any kind of cutting tool like that on the tubing will squish it.

Hi, where did you get your copper foil tape winder from?
Lesley from the UK
Lesley Watkins hi! I believe I found it off Amazon. Not sure if it’s available in the UK, but it is actually for electrical work I think.
What do you use for stakes and what size is the copper tube?
Hello! The stakes are just some metal rods I found at the hardware store and the tube is 3/4” cut into 1” segments.
Where did you get that foil machine? I need one!
It’s called a Table Foiler and any supply store usually has them.
