Perry out, put Gagne in. Swap out Foegele for Henrique if he can play. Do SOMETHING, Oilers. Please don't give us the "Cup or Bust" platitude unless you're prepared to back it up and play a full 60 minutes every game.
Oilers looking like the western Leafs at this point. We needed a goalie to hold the fort for us, he did, problem is most of the team forgot to show up. Oh ya.... FUCKING HIT BACK!!!!!! Embarrassing.
Vancouver’s best game by far tonight in this series , In every facet. Oilers best goaltender performance all playoffs. Oilers worst effort in the playoffs. If oilers bring their absolute A game in the next game we def are seeing game 7.
Edmonton still onlg has 1.5 lines, and no defence. Whe you have CC and Nurse at -9 you have 0 chance of winning the cup. And all pressure is on Edmonton. Cause win or lose, been a great season for the nucks. Oilers are cup or bust. Stupid way tk stsrt the season.
By no means are the Oilers out of this month’s Oilers-Canucks playoff series, with each game, like with all 6 of the 2017 Leafs-Caps and 4 of 5 of last May’s Panthers-Leafs series, so far decided by 1 goal. That said, the Oilers, having lost games 1, 3 and 5 of their current series, now must win consecutive games to qualify for this month’s Western Conference final. A loss by the Oilers of either game 6 or 7 of their current series will mean likely tough questions asked of the team’s front office and ownership group as that team will have failed to once again qualify for a conference final. Indeed, following their 2006 Stanley Cup appearance, the Oilers have yet to win a game in a conference final, having been swept in one 2 seasons ago against the Avs. Leon Draisaitl may decide that next season will be it for him as an Oiler at least barring a conference final appearance that goes better than the sweep of 2022.
@@wainber1dry is gone next year, mcOilly year after. Oilers suck at building a team. And mcOilly wants to win. He won't stay in edmonton. He is going to go to a team that can actually win.
@@arkatheistcc2353 I have begun typing up a longer response but have, among Canada's NHL teams, found a match between the Oilers' record at the 20-game mark of the 2023-24 regular season and that of the Sens during the 2022-23 regular season: 7-12-1-0 on wins and regulation, OT and shootout losses. Those Sens didn't qualify for playoff action although the Oilers would the following season qualify.
Third line centres. Mcleod 0 points -2 , lindholm 9 points +3 thru 2 rounds. Thats the difference this series and has been all year long. Depth and the importance of the 3C position. You can blame foegle or perry but rememebr, it all starts with the C. Notice how mcdavid and draisaitl and ryan are continually in fierce battles behind the net? Not mcleod. Thats critical.
This game was ours but we p!$$%d it away! Early lead. Brown great opportunity missed, "3" shots on "5 PPs", massive brain fart by Bouchard, and bad change and confusion at the bench on winning goal cost us this game. I dont buy into the "OILERS ARE TIRED" mentality. Canucks should be tired too!? If only we capitalized on all our opportunities in the 1st period? we easily win the game! We just needed to bare down and score on those opportunities, and then hang on the rest of the game, exhausted or not! Going into next game, and beyond, how well the coach manages the lines is gonna be key! ..... Imo, last night the 3rd & 4th line were playing really good (exception Cory Perry) and especially the 4th line, these lines should've been given more ice so our stars didn't have to play so much. The Coach needs to solve this issue for the next game. The plan should be to try and score early a couple goals or so and make the 3rd /4th lines play more, especially in the 2nd period where Vancouver seems to start owning the game and have their way! In the 3rd period, the stars can be used more heavily to control the play and put the Canucks away! Anyway, this should be the strategy imo.. Lastly, Perry should be benched!. Its bad enough we are getting hemmed in and hes TOO SLOW to help out! Its like its a PP when he's out there! Put Carrick or Gags in!
Was never your game or series. Oilers have 1.5 lines, no defence or goaltending. Picard had been great for you, but you have 0 chance of winning the cup.
@@arkatheistcc2353 We have two Wizards among us, that has to count for something!?. Sounds like something might be going through the dressing room too. A few players sound rough, especially Ekholm a few days ago. .
Ok ark, I'll bite. So, the Oilers are a 1 or 1.5 line team you say. I guess that means the Canucks are pretty shitty team that can barely beat them....
@user-bi6yf4hv9g absolutely, mcOilly can steal a game as much as a good goaltender. But you still need more then one line, or 2 when you split the duo lol.

... again, not this year Pal. (Edmonton Oil Leafs)😮💨
So don't folks think the 2 major crosschecks played a factor on mcdavids health?
Yah he’s a little wuss. Love the guy, but he’s like Gretzky…needs some one to protect him. Can’t give physicality back.

How could you go to skinner after pickard plays like that. Skinner has not been good in the playoffs. Learn from last year. Picks all the way!
They start Skinner, I won't even turn on the TV.
Canucks have more depth and more of a complete team, they were underestimated and they will take the series.
Totally. Oilers might as well just throw in the towel honestly. They never stood a chance.
I mean, this series by no means over.

If Perry doesn't play, all the Oilers mothers and girlfriends in trouble during the game
Not sure how you call that a bounce on the last goal? Looked like Pettersen soccer passed it over.
The puck literally hit the post off a skate. How the fuck is that a pass?
