There is a STORY behind that 8th birthday party. And I need to know it! Was Todd never invited to another party by his other classmates? Did he turn down other invites because he was afraid of a repeat of The Cup Incident? Was Adia still in town, or was this his first time doing something exciting without her & it blew up in his face?
I’m surprised how clean and clear it worked like that episode ended and I didn’t feel bad like often shows ending no whiplash more would have been great but this ended pretty well
At first I thought Todd was an Easter egg, like a prototype of what Scratch might’ve looked like when he was alive. But when they introduced Wraiths, I knew Scratch was Todd’s wraith! I just thought his cleaving was more funny, like Geoff left a Ghost Portal unattended for two seconds & Todd tripped through.
I don't recall them suggesting that Wraiths get memory loss until the finale when it was relavent so I was like "He's directly interacted with Todd as if he is a different person though"@@ztslovebird
How did nobody realize Todd was the ghost? They had the same voice actor and essentially look the same. I never got to watch most Ghost and Molly McGee so I don't know if it was as obvious to everyone since the beginning.
There were actually theories about it as soon as Wraiths were a thing; they just were shot down about a couple weeks later, like most of the other crazy theories that ended up being correct (e.g. the author of Journal #3 being Stan's brother, Rose Quartz being Pink Diamond, Belos being a human the whole time, etc)
I listened. I knew that Todd was Scratch's body and that Scratch was actually a wraith. I believed that theory, the resemblance was very much there. I believed that theory more when I saw Scratch as a kid in the episode where Scratch was hiding something in his mind and it caused him to become full of bubbles, thought kid Scratch looked like a kid version of Todd. Someone on the fandom wiki, however, told me misinformation and said that the creators outright debunked the theory and that it was confirmed to be just a joke on their part. Not sure if they just heard the misinformation themselves and got fooled as well, but deep down inside, I knew it was a "Nintendo confirmed Mario is 155cm" situation. Deep down inside, I knew it was true.
I wasn't expecting this show to just drop this dilemma on the cast and then conclude it all in one episode.
What dilemma? This conclusion was always in the works - Disney just forced them to move it all to one episode instead of a full season.
Seems like he and the mayor may have known each other since childhood, maybe not a friends but classmates I guess?

"Like he has no soul" In hindsight, it's so obvious!

I was wondering if they were connected. They look so similar.

I deadass feel bad for the guy lol
Man seeing their faces now feels we've known scratch's body for a long time now which is literally the context of this
