Applaud your NOT drilling, or altering. I would suggest fewer rods, wearing a PFD that is fishing engineered and reducing weight as much as possible. I also have an OT 14.6. Fly rod for pan fish mostly. I find less is more. Your set up is convenient though. You have a subscriber here.
@@korinatate7986 That's awesome! I'll have to figure out how to install that. I do have a marine battery and a 30 lbs thrust trolling motor, but it's heavy.
I can stand up in the canoe, it's 36 inches wide at the center so it will feel like standing in a kayak. You can find the wheels here: www.mycanoebuddy.com//
I think the weight capacity is 750 lbs and the canoe is fairly wide. It's stable on calm water. I would feel very comfortable taking my sons out for a paddle. They are the same age.
I have a Saranac 16, 1 1/2 ft longer than the 146, it holds me, my wife, my 2 y/o and 5 y/o, cooler, fishing rods, tackle trays, dry box, paddles, toys, etc.. A lot of room. I'd consider the larger Saranac 16 for a family of 4
That is an awesome canoe love everything about it wish I had one
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.

Lmaonthat beast is got to be heavy with all that crap
It's not awful, but with a motor mount, trolling motor and battery it can be.
